About this property

Note..2 night minimum...
My home is a new construction as of mid 2016, I built it to have a lodge/vacation feel as it is located on the road to the Arizona Snowbowl Ski area and faces the majestic San Francisco peaks. It is also on the way to the Grand Canyon (70 miles), 40 miles to Sedona and is 8 miles from Downtown Flagstaff. There is a hot tub for your use, amazing decks to take in the views, the national forest is across the street with some of the best trails in AZ.

:****I live in the downstairs of this home but travel frequently and may or may not be here during your stay, the upstairs has a private entrance and is separated from the downstairs. I have two outdoor cats on the property who live in the detached garage primarily for rodent control but I do not allow them inside. I also have two dogs that are allowed in the downstairs of the home when I am there.

The upstairs guest quarters and loft include a small kitchen, dining area, bedroom with a king bed, full bathroom and small living area with a futon. The loft area has a larger living area with reclining sofa, huge bean bag, a double bed in the loft, a small bedroom with a queen bed and another full bath. You will also have access to 3 second floor decks that have amazing views of the mountains.

Perfect Stay!

What a perfect stay! We had a wonderful time, absolutely loved the views and location was perfect. The owners were so nice and accommodating, giving us great local information. We can’t wait to come back!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Flagstaff hideaway near snowbowl

Beautiful views of Mt Humphrey’s !!! Easy drive into town. Plenty of room for 5 adults. Loved that it has 2 full baths. Hot tub was a great perk. I could have sat on the deck for hours just enjoying the view.Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was that there isn’t a table that will seat 5. We sat on the floor to play some games. I would still come back to this property in a heart beat! Host was very accommodating and responsive.

Fun in the snow - with a view

We took a last minute weekend vacation with the kids to play in the snow. We found this home and felt it looked like a good value/location for us. Hands down this has the the best views we've ever had of the surrounding beauty of Flagstaff, especially Humphreys Peak which had tons of snow on it. The property has an abundance of windows to be able to see it. Especially nice was a balcony overlooking the mountain. We sat out there in the mornings and had coffee. It was small, but the owner made the best of the space. The bathrooms were definitely nice and roomy. Note that this space is on the second floor of the owners residence. That's something we didn't notice when looking through the property details. There is a nice private set of steps to the space. The owner wasn't really there for the length of our stay except for the day we checked out, but from what I understand, he travels a lot and isn't there very often. I would have hated for him to be there with my kids running around and pounding on his ceiling. They are energetic and can create some noise. All in all, it was a memorable stay for our family and one we'll remember fondly.
