Getting to the beach!:
Although beautiful Moody Beach is only 0.5 miles away as the crow flies, it is about a 14 minute walk (.7 miles). Our beach carts make it easy to bring small coolers, blankets, chairs, umbrellas etc. No parking is available near public access for our beach area, which is nice in that the beach is usually uncrowded, because private property abuts either side, so please respect where posted. We have a tide clock and have provided tide tables to make it easy to determine the tide level throughout each day. Parking is available at 4 Town of Wells beach lots for a daily fee. Discounted pass books are available at town hall. Rates and directions are in the property binder. There is also parking at nearby Ogunquit Beach but the rates are very high. Another option is for one person to drive back & forth, drop off and walk back. Then again, there always is the trolley that can be boarded on Rt. 1 which goes to Ocean Ave. via Eldridge Rd. and returns via Mile Rd
Beach and yard items we provide.:
We have 5 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, 2 beach carts, a blanket, a small portable cooler, boogie boards and a few games such as paddle ball, bocce, ring toss, whiffle balls/bat and frisbees. There are also four Adirondack style lawn chairs with small tables for sitting out in the yard.
Golf:
Our brochure basket has information from all nearby 9-18 hole golf courses, PAR 3, Pitch & Putt, and driving ranges.
