Mariposa Ridge Retreat is a ten-acre hilltop home with stunning panoramic views of the seasonal snow capped peaks in Yosemite and the quaint village below. Located just 1.6 miles outside of the historic Gold mining County seat of Mariposa, the 'Mother of California's Counties.' We are 38 miles from Yosemite National Park, and just ten minutes from the untamed Merced River which winds along Highway 140 for 23 miles into the Park. One of the most scenic drives on planet Earth. HWY 140 is Open as of August 1, 2006. Don't miss the river drive into Yosemite! The home was built in 2005 and features a King Suite, a Queen bedroom and a full-size double futon in the third bedroom. Two full baths with a double-sized soaking tub in the Master bath. There is a 500 square foot deck with brand new six foot circular Hot Springs Spa overlooking the Mariposa Valley along with picnic table and barbecue.

Bring your clothes and food (linens and towels are provided) and come home to peaceful mountain air and escape the rat race below. (Mariposa is the only California County without a single Traffic Light!). **Please Note: Check-in at 3pm day of arrival and Check-out at 11 am.
