Great for families! Walk to sandy Surf Drive Beach on the Vineyard Sound -- the warm water side of the Cape. Walk to Falmouth Inner Harbor where you can fish from jetties and see boats come and go while you eat fried clams. Walk to the Main Street of Falmouth Village with its Village Green and historic houses. Bike along the Shining Sea bike path to Woods Hole where you can catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard or visit the aquarium. First floor, with a large sunroom, living room with fireplace, and kitchen, offers space for quiet reading while others are playing board games or watching TV in another. Sunroom looks out on a secluded back yard with lawn furniture where you can get the sand off in an enclosed outdoor shower, set up a croquet game, grill, and lounge in the sun. First floor also has two bedrooms and a bath, easily accessible for those who do not like to negotiate stairs. Attached garage offers a handy storage area for your bikes and beach equipment.

This is both a place to relax and one with much activity -- Falmouth has more public beaches and harbors than any other town on Cape Cod; some are on Vineyard Sound and some on Buzzards Bay. The town is compromised of numerous villages including its best known -- Woods Hole with scientific institutions, an aquarium and docking for the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Biking, tennis golf, water sports are all near at hand. There is shopping on Falmouth's historic Main Street and in Mashpee Commons.

We just spent a great week at this property. It has every thing you need for a week at the beach. You can walk to Falmouth center and enjoy the shops and great food. It is also a short walk to the beach. We were able to sleep 6 adults and five children with room to spare. The property is in wonderfull shape with very comfortable beds and a great gathering area in the sun room or living room. It also has a huge yard for the kids to run around and play. I will definitely rent this property again if I come back to Falmouth. The water at the beach is so warm I was suprised I am used to cold Massachusett beaches that was a nice surprise. It is also close to the ferry for a day trip to Marhta Vineyard
