The Rainmaker is a beautiful cabin that sits on more than two wooded acres. It has two master suites with King beds and sitting areas. There is also a sectional sofa with full size pull-out bed and an inflatable twin size bed.

The Rainmaker Cabin has a four person outdoor hot tub, wrap around covered porch, charcoal grill, firepit and a hammock!

There is nothing more relaxing than enjoying the sights and sounds of nature while enjoying morning coffee or an evening drink on the porch. Deer, wild turkey and roadrunners are common sights, as is the usual assortment of smaller forest animals and bird life. This scenic area known for its luscious green forests and abundance of clear water provides a fun filled environment for many popular outdoor activities such as canoeing, boating, hiking, bird watching, golfing, scuba diving, hunting, mountain biking, camping, horseback riding, four wheeling, and all types of fishing. Whether you're fishing for trout in streams that are stocked year round or canoeing the rapids of the Lower Mountain Fork, there is an outdoor activity suited for all ages and seasons.

McCurtain County offers a variety of activities for visitors of all ages. Beavers Bend State Park, Hochatown State Park, and Cedar Creek Golf Course to name a few. This area is the home of great parks and lakes like Beavers Bend Park, Broken Bow Lake, and Pine Creek Lake, plus scenic rivers like the Mountain Fork and Glover Rivers as well as thousands of acres of National Forest Land. The crystal clear water of the lake and river, as well as the 100 foot pine trees, makes us the perfect location for your next vacation getaway.

We drove up to Broken Bow from Fort Worth on the advise of a friend. We fell in love with the area...it's like a different world! We saw The Rainmaker Cabin and convinced the owner to sell it to us (it wasn't for sale).

What makes this cabin unique

The Rainmaker Cabin is secluded withing 2.25 wooded acres and has National Forest land on the North side. Totally private!

We have found our home away from home

We have a family beach house we rent at Surfside once a yea,r BUT the family voted to go back to The Rainmaker Cabin instead!

Your beautiful cabin is as soothing/peaceful as a home by the beach. I believe with all my heart that people need a place, like your home, to get away and enjoy nature....enjoy alone time....enjoy a comfy place that is beautiful/cozy.....hiking, fishing, etc.

This area has so many things to do as a family. ( My 4 year old grandson was looking at the pictures we took our first visit, he pointed to the hammock and said "I want to ride that next time"...ha. ) Our grandsons loved it!! We didn't use the hiking trails last time but plan to this visit.

It rained, literally, the entire time we were there BUT we still had fun ! There is so much to do in the area and just totally enjoying the awesome cabin, playing games, sitting in the hot tub (which I enjoyed even in the rain, thanks to the umbrella idea,ha....) is something anyone would enjoy.

God bless you both! Thanks again, we have found our home away from home. :)) We have told lots of people about it!

We (a North Carolina couple and an Oklahoma couple) thoroughly enjoyed an overnight last minute getaway at the Rainmaker Cabin. It was very well located to provide privacy, space, and amenities to give us a well welcomed refreshing visit. The cabin was cleaned and decorated to high above the usual high standards we have become accustomed to with VRBO rentals. Thanks to the owners for being so very informative and helpful when I called. The photos posted are accurate and almost do justice to the beautiful cabin and setting. The hot tub was very refreshing, and enjoyed. We took the owners suggestions and had pizza at the Grateful Head and it was great. Dinner at Abednigo's was wonderful and delicious - only problem encountered there was in getting our check (a bit of a wait). If we find ourselves back in the area we will certainly look into renting here again. Thanks

We enjoyed our stay at the Rainmaker Cabin. The cabin was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our stay was during the week before Christmas and we were pleased that the cabin was decorated for the holiday, making the time that much more enjoyable. The only issue we had (and we knew it before we went) is that cell phone service is poor to non-existent which was both the good news and the bad news :)

The location is perfect for driving up to the State Park or in to Broken Bow or Hochatown. We ate dinner one night at Abendigo's in Hochatown and it was literally the best steak I've had in years!

Just one more thing...we travel with our dog and it was so great to be able to take her along. Finding nice places to stay that allow pets is sometimes a challenge and we greatly appreciate that the owners of The Rainmaker Cabin are pet friendly!

We’ve truly enjoyed staying here at The Rainmaker Cabin. We were very pleasantly surprised to find the cabin fully stocked! This was nice, as we did forget minor items (who doesn’t?) We enjoyed the hot tub, although it was a little tight for 4 tall Texans to fit it. We managed, though. Thanks for sharing your assortment of games and movies, too. The seclusion of the cabin was an added plus. This location is popular. Of course, the festival was going on this weekend, too. We stopped by and sweated our way around the festival.

Overall, our stay was enjoyable and memorable. We loved having our puppies here with us. They say “Thank You!”, too.
