Waterfront Home, dock, 2 Bedrooms , 1 Bath, (Sleeps 5-6)

Picture yourself sitting on the shadded 2-level deck with a cool drink in your hand while the fish you caught that day are simmering on the charcoal grill.

This is a great place for a romantic weekend, a perfect fishing trip, a special family celebration...or a place for extra company! Come swim or fish off the dock or bring your own boat (rentals available in area). The house has 2 fishing poles and a tackle box available, catching fish is up to you! Don't forget to bring your golf clubs. We have several courses in the area and you can play year-round in South Carolina.

The large kitchen can accomodate several 'chefs' with an eat-in area for the 'non-cooks'. The dinning room table seats 5 plus a bar with 2 bar stools. The dinning/bar area, living room, and a bedroom have a lakeview. The large lake view bedroom has 3 twin beds (1 moveable). The second romantic bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed. The large 2 level deck was recently re-done and a new charcoal grill added. There are plenty of tables and chairs to enjoy the outdoors. On a rainy day you can watch Direct TV with 144 channels plus the Sunday NFL Sunday ticket.

Information on local restaurants and activities in the Columbia/Lexington area are available at the house. Come and enjoy Lake Murray!

About Cindy Teets

Steve and I (Cindy) came to Lake Murray in 2004 from Washington DC and couldn't be happier in SC. We love our life on Lake Murray and think it is the best kept secret in the South. We bought the 'Big' Little Lake House so other people could enjoy Lake Murray as much as we do. And renting it, we have met so many interesting people from all over the country. We just bought a secound lake house called the 'Big' Little Lake House II!

Location, Location, Location! The house is on the south side of the lake and close-in to Lexington, SC. The property is on a large lot with 100ft of waterfront. Because the dock is on a deep cove swimming and fishing is safe and fun. The cove protects boats tied to the floating dock. The huge 2 level deck on the house lets you enjoy the outdoors.

What makes this house unique

The house has 1200 sq. ft. and is filled with light. You can see the water from the dining room, living room, and one of the bedrooms. The kitchen is large so everyone can help the cook!

Lake Murray has 500 miles of shoreline so boating is at the top of the list. Boat rental is available in area. We have national fish tournaments, water skiing, and jet skiing. Or you can just swim off the dock and relax. Also our Zoo is a must see.

Had a terrific time at Lake Murray. What a beautiful setting! Spent too much time traveling and wish we could havve kicked back and enjoyed it more. Had fun swimming off the great dock. Hope to be able to use this fun place again.
