The villa has beautifully finished hardwood floors throughout with antiques and Persian rugs, their rich tones enhanced by small spotlights discreetly mounted on the ceiling beams.

Large and handsomely furnished living/dining room with exposed stone walls and wood beams, along the North side, wide windows look out onto the river. At one end of the room is a huge stone fireplace with a sitting area and at the other end, nearest the kitchen, an attractive farm table with 8 ladder-back chairs,+ 2.
A Separate guest WC (Poeder room),Cosy sitting room with sofas, television, VCR, stereo system with CD player and satellite/cable TV. One of the sofas can be converted into a 140 cm (55' across) double bed.
Well-equipped kitchen, brilliantly illuminated and finished with antique-style cupboards and Burgundian stone counters. It is fitted with top-quality appliances.All apliences are stainless steal.Cooks will appreciate the generous counter space and large sink.
For informal meals there is a pretty breakfast alcove with windows overlooking the Dordogne. Also on the ground floor:
A Guest bedroom, charmingly furnished and decorated in soft rose colours, with a view of the courtyard. This room, which has a queen-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with shower and WC, is ideal for guests who prefer not to climb stairs.
Basement laundry room with an American-style washing machine and separate tumble dryer. A staircase of polished walnut leads to the first floor which comprises: Sunny reading area with a sofa and bookshelves & a nice book coll.

Separate
A Luxury master bedroom suite with a queen-sized bed, beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and wall-to-wall sisal carpet. The suite is entered through a large and sumptuously appointed bathroom with Jacuzzi, WC and an exceptionally wide shower with twin shower heads. There is a dressing area with closets and drawers finished in teak. As it occupies virtually one entire side of the upper floor, guests in the master suite have complete privacy and enjoy north + south Views over the courtyard and river. As in all the bedrooms there are bedside tables with good reading lamps, ample cupboard space and top-quality bedding with firm mattresses.
The irregular-shaped swimming pool, approximately 14m x 9m (46’ x 30'), is in a beautiful setting about 25 meters from the house. The pool has a terrace on one side and is surrounded by gardens.
Table tennis and board games are available.
Internet connection, however it is not adsl, and as in France, not always as reliable as we wish.
Golf:
We have two courses within 4 km from the house. 'L'Olivarie' an 18 hole course with resident professional and a nice club house. There is also a new 9 hole course, 'La Forge' at the outskirts of Siorac, in the direction of Belvès.
