Villa la Madonnina has unique characteristics and highlights with breathtaking ocean views from all terraces and rooms, swimming pool, direct access to the ocean with platform, wide and open spaces with 2100 square feet (210 m2) indoors and large terraces 2400 square feet (240 m2), furnished as an upscale family home with original paintings and sculptures. The hallway is a rock carving masterpiece. For all seasons, with air condition and heating. Romantically secluded but close to the elegant Amalfi and Positano amenities, access from the road, with parking lot, and sleeps 6. Our villa is perfectly suited for guests who enjoy a calm retreat for relaxing, swimming in the ocean or pool, reading and enjoy sunshine and the fabulous panorama with sea and mountains. You can cook yourself in our fully equipped kitchen or ask you maid to cook a fabulous Italian meal for you or go to one of the seaside in walking distance. You can rent a boat with or without captain to cruise along the coast till Capri and have a lunch at one of the excellent beach restaurants. At the same time the villa is close (within few miles) to the famous ancient towns of Amalfi, Positano, Atrani and Ravello. The villa is also a perfect base for sightseeing famous Capri and Naples, the ruins of Pompeii, Ercolaneum, Paestum. The area is also a paradise for those who like hiking - short or long distance. Famous is the 'path of Gods' one of the most beautiful hikes on earth, with breathtaking views down to the sea.

Amazing Villa - Highly Recommend

My family (husband and I, my mother, 2 kids - aged 3 yrs and 18 months) stayed at the villa the first week of April 2009. The house is amazing - spacious, breathtaking views, extensive outdoor area - decks, pool, lemon grove, stairs leading down to the water. The pictures and description are 100% accurate. The main large deck is well gated and our children were able to play freely; there was a crib available for us to use. Large screen TV and wireless access were appreciated amenities. Every room has a view and a window that opens - heaven! Teresa cooked us one of the best meals we had in all of Italy. We found the grocery delivery that Frank has arranged extremely helpful. The house was conveniently located - we visited Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello, as well as made easy stops at the Grotto Esmerelda and roadside ceramics shops. I would highly recommend this villa and hope to stay there again in the future.

We stayed as a family of 5 (3 kids) in August. The home and property
live up to the website presentation. The owner is very helpful with detailed answers to most needs. The house is comfortable and well maintained. The art work makes it feel like a genuine home.

the housekeeper Teresa is a wonderful cook and I recommend enjoying
her meals. the views are picturesque and the location on the Amalfi Coast is ideal.
