Photos and Description of the Ocean Creek vacation condo rental
2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, sleeps 6 - 8

Bathrooms being completely redone in May, 2013 with new washer and dryer and new tile in condo. This first floor end unit in the North Tower has a large wraparound balcony with a table, 4 tall chairs and a lounger for your enjoyment and is 1100 square feet with a picturesque creek/ocean view. There are 3 flat screen cable TVS, a DVD, radio and WIFI to use. Both bedrooms have room darkening shades with a double bed, queen bed, a walk-in closet and a double vanity in the master bedroom/bath and 2 twin beds with a bathroom in the other bedroom. You have a washer, dryer, microwave, dishwasher and wet bar in the unit. The living/dining area contains a comfortable full sleep sofa with chairs, 7 additional chairs and a table for your use.

New flat screen TV and heat pump were added in Dec. 2010, other flat screens in Dec. 2011. The condo was repainted and renovated in Dec. 2009. New hurricane glass, sliding doors and carpeting were added in July, 2008. The condo received new mattresses and living room furniture in 2005, new appliances since 2002 and new counter tops and sink in the kitchen in 2004. There is easy access to the beach.

Security: The condo is approximately 17 feet above the ground for security with a peaceful ocean/creek view and easy access to the beach. On the balcony there is an additional table and 4 other chairs. There is a wet bar next to the kitchen.

Location: This resort is located across the street from Barefoot Landing which has over 100 shops; including Ron Jon Surf Shop, many restaurants, as well as the Alabama Theatre, House of Blues and Alligator Adventure. There are over 100 championship golf courses in the area. The resort is located at the north end of Myrtle Beach near the North Myrtle Beach line and is close to Restaurant Row and the Tanger Outlets.

Rates: All rates include the 12% taxes for Horry County and South Carolina. There is an additional refundable $50 security/damage deposit. Monthly rentals available for January, February, March, April, May, September, October and November.

About Deborah Hurney

My husband and I went to Myrtle Beach for the first time in 1980 with our son. We have gone every year since then except for the year our daughter was born. Our children always wanted to go back every year. In 2002 we decided to purchase a place in Myrtle Beach so we could enjoy it every year in our own special place on the ocean. We hope you enjoy this resort on the ocean too.

We chose Ocean Creek because of having the ocean and the creek to enjoy. Ocean Creek has many resort amenities including: several pools, indoor and outdoor, an indoor hot tub, tennis courts, kids' playground areas, snack bar and 2 miles of unspoiled and undeveloped beach next to the property. We loved the grounds that are well maintained and like being across from Barefoot Landing.

What makes this condo unique

There are 8 tennis courts on the property and a large ocean front pool with a kiddie pool, playground and volley ball courts. There is a snack bar and grill. Umbrellas and chairs are available for rent. There are nature trails and a bicycle path.

Ocean Creek Resort is a 57 acre resort with 24 hour security, a restaurant, indoor and outdoor pools, 1 dedicated solely for the North Tower, whirlpool, kids' playground, volleyball courts, 8 tennis courts, putting green, fitness center, game room, nature trail and bicycle paths. The Beach Club has a large oceanfront pool, kiddie pool with a gazebo, playground, snack bar and grill. The resort is across the street from Barefoot Landing with Alabama Theatre, Alligator Adventure, House of Blues, 100 shops including Ron Jon Surf Shop and many restaurants and is close to Tanger Outlets. The resort is located at the north end of Myrtle Beach near the North Myrtle Beach line close to Restaurant Row.

This location is a beautiful resort community with a security guard at the entrance to insure the safety of its residents. The North Tower building is at the end of the resort and located next to the ocean. The condo itself is on the first floor making it very assessable from the parking area without the need to use the elevators. The wrap around balcony provides a panoramic view of the ocean and adjacent creek which flows past the resort. We would recommend the condo as it was immaculate and located only steps from the beach.

We have been renting Debbie's condo for about 5 or 6 years. We always enjoy our time there. I love the balcony! Love watching the birds & with my binoculors, I always hope to see some dolphins. Debbie always has lots of supplies, so you don't need anything, but your clothes! She has improved a lot since we have been coming. I always look forward to seeing what she has done since our last visit!

Fabulous for Families!

We have stayed at this condo for one week during the past three summers, and we love it every time! It is very clean, spacious, and is perfectly located at the end of the unit. The balcony has a view of the walkway bridge over to the beach and is a wonderful place to sit and eat lunch or to unwind after a long day at the beach. The smaller bedroom has two single beds and is an ideal size for two children. It also has an adjacent bathroom. The master bedroom has two large beds with an adjacent double-sink bathroom plus tub/shower. Ocean Creek is located directly across the street from Barefoot Landing, one of the two main outdoor entertainment complexes in Myrtle Beach. We can't recommend this condo highly enough!
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities

This was our first visit to Myrtle Beach but it won't be our last. The condo was everything as advertised; clean, well maintained and with all the features and amenities we were looking for. As hectic as "The Beach" is in summer, Ocean Creek resort was an oasis of tranquility and the condo a haven of peace and quiet. We'll be back.
