Newly decorated, seven year old Chalet style cottage is nestled on a private, wooded lot with a gorgeous view of the lake. Enjoy quality time with family or friends swimming, shopping, boating, hiking, antique shopping or relaxing by the open pit fire outside.

Cottage has new furniture throughout and is decorated with a mix of lodge and cottage style charm. An open living room and dining area connect with a large deck via the sliding glass doors for a beautiful view onto Bass Lake. No need to bring anything as all utensils, pots/pans, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, VCR/DVD, flat screen TVs, Direct TV Premier Package, games, and even baby supplies like pack and play and highchair are included.

My family and I had a great time at the Lazy Bass cottage! Elk Rapids was a short distance into Traverse (15 minutes) and it was the perfect getaway. The cottage has everything you need, which kept us stress-free. Highly recommended!

Best Cottage Experience Ever!

This cottage is absolutely beautiful and the scenery was exceptional! We were only a few minutes from local restaurants and a short drive to Traverse City for entertainment. The cottage is spacious and comfortable and we consider this experience one of our best vacations ever. The view of the lake behind the house was one of our favorite memories, also. We were very fortunate to stay in this cottage for our winter getaway! You will be very pleased with the accommodations that are geared toward families looking for a home away from home. 5 Stars!

It was a great choice to stay here. Home is very clean and cozy. We felt very comfortable and the home easily accommodates 4 adults as well as children. The lake was nice for taking a quick ride around in the row boat or canoe and the location is perfect for Lake Michigan and Elk Rapids. We all had a great time and the kids enjoyed playing with the toys in kids room.

My family and I have been going to Elk Rapids on vacation for the past 18 years - spending our last 3 at the Lazy Bass - it is great and we love it - we fish we relax we BQ and just walking distance to the beach and downtown. PERFECT PLACE
