Create family memories in our clean and remodeled family cottage that is home to one of Silver Lakes best beach front properties. The waters of Silver Lake are very clean and warm for your enjoyment. This cottage features 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. The parents bedroom offers a full size bed, the kids bedroom is set-up with 3 twin beds. A full-size sofa sleeper is also available. All bed and bath linens are provided. The kitchen is fully furnished and includes a microwave, dishwasher, full size refrigerator, stove, oven, and corian countertops. The lower level features a sun room to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail. Outdoor amenities include a sandy, private beach, private dock for your boat, swimming raft, 2 kayaks and a paddle boat. Two decks overlook the lake and include a gas grill and picnic table. A fire-pit and chairs on the beach are for memorable campfires, firewood included. A public boat launch is just 2 miles away. Sorry, no smoking or pets allowed.

A week on the lake

What a perfect little lake cottage. When we arrived, the owner's daughters had scribbled a welcome message in chalk on the sidewalk with our names. Very cute! The owner was there to greet us and to show us the the home, which was absolutely spotless. This wasn't just your average furnished apartment. Everything that we needed was there. Extra soap and softener for the washer/dryer, extra paper towels and napkins, spices for cooking, all the appliances one could use were included. While only my wife and I were rented the home, it could could accommodate many more. Plenty of beds upstairs and down in this two level cottage with balcony overlooking the sandy beach and clean Silver Lake. Plenty of lawn/sand chairs were provided plus a paddleboat for our use. We loved the outside gas grille. The owners were extremely accommodating and even took us out on their pontoon for an afternoon ride. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores within a couple of miles and the baseball stadium is just down the road. You can be downtown Traverse City in fifteen minutes.

This was a thoroughly wonderful experience and I highly recommend this property.
