Beautiful hardwood floors and windows throughout the house showcase contemporary black cottage and wicker furniture. Private fenced yards with single car garage. New deck in backyard with gas BBQ. Home has new roof & front porch along with new exterior paint, offering a comfortable, relaxed environment for family vacations or a romantic get-away at the beach. Shell Beach is away from it all. It's 77 steps down the cliffs to this small and uncrowded beach. Bring down a great picnic.' Shell Beach offers a quiet, residential community located by the ocean between Pismo Beach and Avila Beach, just south of San Luis Obispo on the beautiful Central Coast of California. Our home is comfortable for just 2 people or a larger family group. Well-behaved pets are welcome. On the ocean side of Highway 101, grassy park areas with benches overlook the water - perfect for watching pelicans and sea otters with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Wthin short walking distances, spectacular sunsets await you!

Just south of Pismo Beach you find Oceano Beach at the base of Grand Avenue - one of the only only beaches remaining where you can drive your car directly onto the beach (with permit and entrance fee at kiosk). Quads and dune buggies are available for rent for fun in the sand dunes. Cook your dinner or s'mores over an open campfire right on the beach. Pismo Beach offers surfing, beach volleyball and a great pier along with restaurants famous for their clam chowder and shops for browsing.

Beautiful home in Shell Beach!

We stayed in the Shell Beach house for 1 week (mid-June 2008) and loved it. It was very clean and really nicely decorated. It's location is perfect, on a quiet street where the end of the street is the ocean. There are many beaches nearby in a very short walking distance and that whole area is very nice for jogging along the cliffs. The kitchen was well stocked- we had multiple BBQ dinners and had everything we needed to cook dinner at home.

The owner is very helpful and always returned my emails very quickly. She sent us the keys before our stay so we could let ourselves in when we arrived. Also, she returned our deposit very quickly.

We felt very lucky to be staying at this beautiful house for the week of my sister's gradution from Cal Poly. We will likely return again when we want to visit the area. The cost was very reasonable, especially for such a beautiful property and area. Thanks again Robbin!

Shell Beach was wonderful!

Our visit in Shell Beach was wonderful! Awesome weather, house worked very well. We slept well, ate well, visited and walked around the charming neighborhood. Enjoyed the coffee roasting place up the way but ate all our meals at the house. A nicely equipped kitchen worked very well. I even roasted a locally grown pumpkin from Oregon and made a pie. Friends of ours driving up from Sherman Oaks to San Francisco stopped by and loved the place for their family. We have rented other places and always been pretty happy, but this worked for our crowd very well.

Wow - thanks so much for everything! We had everything we needed. We had so much fun. You have a lovely home and we enjoyed our stay. It was too short. We all thought it was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed as we made breakfast and some dinners. So much better than a motel room.

I will tell my friends and family! I am trying to talk my son and daughter-in-law into coming up and leaving the baby with us!

Thanks again for an awesome time. Your help before we left made everything so much easier.
