A $300 security deposit (per week) for keys, pool passes and damages is required and will be refunded when keys & passes are returned and unit is inspected upon departure. Payments may be made with check, money order, or through Pay Pal. No third party checks will be accepted.T o reserve your dates, a deposit of one half the rent is due when the reservation is made. If a reservation is made less than 60 days in advance, full payment is required at the time of the reservation. Payment in full, including the balance of rent and security deposit, is due 60 days prior to check-in. Renter must provide verifiable address and phone number for contract documents.
  • Check in time during peak season is 3 pm. Check out time is 10 am. For non-peak times, check with owners.

And for a refreshing clean up after the beach or pool, use the roomy outdoor shower.

My family stayed at this home in July 2007 and loved it! It was nicely decorated and situated in a great community. Unlike another reviewer we received all of our security deposit back, with no problems. We can't wait to return!

Mom's Place Fan Eastern Seaboard

My family and I stayed here for a week in August and we had such a wonderful, restful time.

The area it's in is very quiet, which we loved, yet close enough to fun things to do, like visiting Ocean City boardwalk, the beach, and the pool. The pools are in walkable distance, which was great and the kids loved it.

This home is awesome--you know when you stay somewhere and it takes you a couple of days to get used to being there? I did not experience this here. I felt at home the day I arrived. It's very comfy, and the decor is outstanding (normally I don't care about that stuff, but it's all so adorable and warm). You can tell the owners put a LOT of thought and heart into it.

There is cable tv: The kids' room has a tv in it (which is the first thing my kids mention when asked their favorite part of their vacation!), as does the main bedroom, the kitchen is great as well.

There is a DVD library of great family movies if you're so inclined: we watched "A Night at the Museum" and "Roman Holiday" during our stay. Also, there are lots of great paperbacks in the living room if you're in the mood for a good read.

We visited an Italian restaurant and Dumster's while we were in the area. They were both great, though I wasn't bowled over by Dumster's. It's one of those 1950s-appeal kind of places, but it didn't do it for me. Whatever. The food was good.

There is also a fabulous local place we went to for breakfast with firefighter decor (I know I said that stuff doesn't matter to me, but it's hard to ignore it at this place!). EVERYTHING has a firefighter motif. It's wonderful and the people who run it were so inviting. We went there almost every morning!

All in all, Delaware is awesome--clean beaches, REALLY friendly people, cars that stop for pedestrians!

Mom's Place is so wonderful. We highly recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Fenwick Island.

We had a great time. 3 Adults and a 4 year old. A well kept, well managed, and well equipped condo that is very nicely located. We enjoyed the condo's pool, tennis courts and shuffle board courts, as well as Ocean City and Fenwick beaches, boardwalk, and restaurants. The "Owners Manual" of information and tips about the condo and surrounding area that we found prepared for us at the condo was the best - most complete and most helpful - we've seen.

Relaxing and Wonderful

I first stayed here for a long weekend in the Fall of 2007. I returned for a full week's stay in July of 2007 and will be returning again this July. We had a wonderful time and the property is well-appointed, decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. We couldn't decide if we enjoyed the beach or the pools more. And there were so many great restaurants nearby! Highly recommend!

Never returned security deposit!

This place is beautiful and my family and I had a wonderful time; however, the owner never returned my security deposit. I sent at least 4 emails and left a message on their phone with no reply. I was very disappointed as we loved this place. If we did something that warrants not returning the security deposit the owner should have at least discussed it with me. Very unprofessional.
Owner's Response: "L" did not have her security deposit returned because of damage to our property. An itemized list of damages -- which included walls that needed to be repaired and repainted, a broken stereo, damaged mirror, damaged ceiling fan, damaged blinds, and additional fees from our cleaning service -- was sent to "L". I responded in writing and sent a copy of the list a second time when I received the phone message. No emails were ever received after the property rental period. We also offered to provide pictures taken of the damage for her review.

In the end, the security deposit did not cover the cost of what needed to be repaired or replaced. This is the only time we have not been able to return the security deposit to the guests using our home.
