This house is located in a historic district, on a quiet side street, 1 block from downtown and within sight of the beach. On the 1st floor, there is a wrap around porch with seating for 12 in front, a comfortable living room, a nicely equipped eat-in kitchen, a dining room for 10-12 and a study with a full sofa bed. Flooring on 1st floor is hardwood, and on the 2nd, polished wide board floors. Upstairs are 5 bright, pleasant bedrooms, with 3 Juliet balconies. The house is tastefully decorated with antique and country furnishings. The backyard is shaded and semi-private with a grill patio and a tree-strung hammock, while the side yard is sunny with space for games of wiffle ball, volleyball or croquet. A new, over-sized, open air mahogany outdoor shower separates the two yards.

The house is only 75 yards from Oak Bluffs Town Beach, 150 yards from the Inkwell, and minutes from many other beaches. It is located one row behind historic Ocean Park, a block from the town's main street and all activities, and a short walk to the ferry. Within several blocks of the house there are other parks that offer a playground, basketball and tennis courts, and a baseball diamond. In downtown Oak Bluffs - Circuit Ave. and the harbor - there are many shops, restaurants, and activities. In this location, you won't even need a car while you're here!
