Breathtaking View, Fabulous Retreat

Our summer vacation week at Seasong could not have been more perfect! The cottage provides a truly spectacular view of the ocean and the adjacent lighthouse appointed islands. There is no better way to relax than with a cup of coffee or glass of wine on this deck! The cottage interiors are just as pictured and provide such a comfortable place to stay. The kitchen had all the necessary tools and more(including a lobster pot!) to prepare your meals, but if you don't feel like cooking, local restaurants including The Osprey and Five Islands are great places to get some authentic Maine lobster or seafood. We had gorgeous weather, so mostly took advantage of playing on the great beach below with our two sons, kayaking, and boating. Other great areas to explore are Reid State Park, Popham Beach, and Freeport and Boothbay Harbor are also close by for shopping. We would visit Seasong again in a heartbeat...my husband and I are rejuvenated and our two boys had such a blast. Such a perfect New England retreat!
