Photos and Description of the Wear Valley vacation house rental 4BR/3BA Sleeps 8

Located in the Pigeon Forge area in picturesque Wears VaIley. It is at the end of a dead end road in an area of rental & permanent homes called Dogwood Farms. There are 3 large bedrooms, each with queen-sized beds & private baths. Each bedroom is located on a different floor for complete privacy. Off the loft bedroom is a smaller bedroom with twin beds, which is ideal for children. The main floor has a great room with a stacked stone gas fireplace, dining area which seats 6 & a bar which seats 3. Outside is a covered wrap-around porch with a 6 person hot tub. The loft bedroom has a private porch & the downstairs has a bedroom, laundry room, recreation room with pool table & deck. With 2400 sq ft, there is more than enough room for a family to be comfortable. 3 couples can share the house & never get in each other's space. The large porch with swing & rockers accommodates lots of rest & relaxation, yet shopping, hiking, Dollywood or Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg are only a short drive away.

Car: necessary
The Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/ Townsend area is easily accessible from our cabin. Hiking the Great Smoky Mountain National Park trails, visiting Cades Cove, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, shopping at outlet malls in Pigeon Forge, going 4-wheeling on Bluff Mountain or fly fishing in one of the many mountain streams or visiting Cherokee for a step back in history or for an exciting day at the casino are all very close to our location. But, if you would prefer some much needed R & R, the porch swing is very inviting. Located in a quite area of Wears Valley called Dogwood Farms, you will have the best of both worlds.

We enjoyed our stay at this wonderful and beautiful cabin. Lots of room to relax and have fun. There were turkeys in the yard everyday as well as a very lively chipmunk. The neighborhood raccoons even stopped by for a few visits. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
