The Maine Country House is a spacious three bedroom Colonial that is perfect for a family or few couples getaway. The fully equipped house can accommodate up to nine guests and is located just a few hundred feet from Lake Christopher in the lakes and mountains region of western Maine. The informal guest house is in the Village of Bryant Pond just minutes from Sunday River and Mt. Abram skiing and the town of Bethel. The house has all the basics like pots and pans and sheets and towels, plus a few extras such as a washer/dryer combo, dish washer, TV with built in DVD and VHS, fire place and music system. You'll enjoy a great view of the lake from the enclosed porch. The house offers a beautifully landscaped yard, flower garden, Children's Playhouse, gas grill and access to canoes, kayak, windsurfer and other outdoor sports equipment for use on the lake. In July 2009, there is a new Hot Tub and deck and second full bathroom.
