As of the writing of this review, there are currently 48 other reviews of this property, and as best I can tell, all are 5 star, with absolutely glowing write-ups. The fact that despite knowing that I still feel compelled to come here and give my own glowing, 5 star review should really be all you need to know about how strongly I recommend coming to stay in this unit!

Annette is absolutely wonderful to work with. She is incredibly quick to respond to questions/concerns as you plan your trip, and provides clear and concise replies that go the extra step of suggesting even more information than you may have asked for - information that was mostly incredibly helpful. The unit itself is exactly as advertised - right on the beach, beautifully maintained and clean, and the perfect size for a couple to enjoy for a week or long weekend. My girlfriend and I stayed for 5 days (4 nights) an primarily enjoyed the condo and the immediate vicinity (lounging on the beach, swimming, kayaking (there is a place to rent a three minute walk down the beach), eating, drinking, and relaxing). But we also took advantage of the proximity to Red Hook with an afternoon excursion to St. John's on the ferry to hike through the National Park there and enjoy drinks at Cruz Bay afterwards, and then a nice dinner out in Red Hook. We also made extensive use of the kitchen, having bought groceries to prepare most of our own meals. This made it easier to jsut stay around the unit for maximum relaxation, and we did not rent a car for our trip. You don't need to - and we were happy not to. But it might also be fun to have access to a car and explore St. Thomas more than we did... for our next trip perhaps!

In summary, like the review title says, I really can't recommend this enough.

Little Piece of Paradise...

My husband and I just returned from a 10-day stay. The room was beautifully renovated, and was very clean. The property manager, Kathleen, took good care of us; we received daily towel services. Step off the patio, and you are 20 feet from the water's edge. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings on the patio, watched the sunrise, and admired the view of the neighboring islands. The condo owner, Annette, was an absolute pleasure to work with as well. She was always available for any questions we had, called to make sure we had arrived and all was ok, and emailed me to check on our travel home and if we had all we needed during our stay. Several of our friends also stayed in the E building, on the 1st floor, in 3 other condos; they all commented on how great our room was, and the daily towel services that they did not receive. I would absolutely recommend staying in this condo.

This condo was everything we expected and more. It was our 35th anniversary and we really enjoyed our stay here. Our first trip to the Carribean and we did not know much about the island, but were amazed at how helpful and friendly the locals were. We stopped and bought food at the local supermarket and cooked most of our meals...the kitchen was perfect. Annette, the owner, called us to make sure we made it and that everything was ok. The best part was sitting on the patio with a cup of coffee and just looking at the view with the sound of the waves hitting the beach...so peaceful! This unit is located in the best building (E) and was right next to the marina..we viewed the ferry to St. John and saw the lights from there at night...wish we had visited there...maybe next time. We were able to walk up the hill and catch the safari cab and ride into Charlotte Amalie. Do ride the Sky Tram there..we saw a cruise ship coming in to dock..great views. We got to the Sky Tram at 10:00 and when we left at 11:30 it was very crowded. We will be back to visit this unit again...our neighbors who have been to St. Thomas three times and all at Sapphire Beach were very impressed with our unit. We invited them in and they stated our unit was much nicer and more had amenities than any of the ones they had stayed in. All of their visits were in Building E also. We felt very safe and saw security all around the buildings constantly. Plenty of YouTube videos of the island to help with planning.

Awesome Condo!

We celebrated our 25th anniversary there. It was exactly as described here and on other sites. Walk right out onto the beach. Steps away from the water. Absolutely gorgeous view of St. John! The sunrise over St. John was breathtaking! The building this unit was in was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, secluded, but not far from anything. The unit was spotless and well equipped (snorkeling equipment for two people, great king size bed, bathrobes, full kitchen). Annette was a great owner! Checked in with us to make sure we were being taken care of. Kathleen the on-site manager was wonderful. She made sure we had everything we needed every day when she changed the towels. I highly recommend visiting Jodi the Concierge. She is located at the other end of the resort (beside bldg A). She was helpful in getting us set up for parasailing from the marina next to our building. The beach in front of this unit is rather rocky. The water also had a lot of rocks in it and more waves than anywhere else. Not great for swimming, but good for snorkeling. The beach on the other side of the pool (just a minute walk) was the typical white-sand beach. Great for swimming and it had a coral reef for snorkeling. The resort’s pool was very nice. And it had an awesome view of St. John as well. Although the poolside bar was boarded up, there was a snack shack between buildings C and D. You could get away not having a car, but we found that it gave more flexibility to our whims. Just watch which rental car company you use. Not all of them allow you to take the car to St. John. You could walk to Red Hook, but it’s quite hilly between the condo unit and the town. All in all, the condo unit was a perfect hideaway for us. It was inviting and cozy. The view was spectacular, and we were able to relax!

My wife and I have been to the Carribean many times. This was at least our 10th stay at Sapphire Beach Resort and definitely one of the best. This is a beautiful remodeled unit, right on the beach, close to the marina, a great view of St. John and away from the crowds and the tourist. When we woke up in the morning we took a swim right out our door. We bought fresh fish next door at the marina when the charters came in and cooked up delicious meals and had romantic dinners on our patio with the best views on the island. The owner, Annette, was fantastic to work with and called to make sure everything was perfect. The cleaning crew was great an checked on us everyday for fresh towels. They came and did a mid week cleaning and even did the dishes that we had not gotten to from the night before. The shower was beautifully retiled and the water was hot with great pressure. I can't say enough about the great time we had.
