About The Owner

Aloha

I have lived on Maui for over 20 years. I owned and operated a very upscale Guest House in Lahaina for almost 20 years. When I downsized to this beautiful townhouse, I wanted to have one rental because I have enjoyed this business so much over the years. I have met amazing people and have created a gorgeous space for visitors to stay on Maui at a very fair and honest price. I am also a professional singer and actress. I have been cast in many shows on Maui over the years. I take my musical equipment to a Senior care center in Wailuku every month and I sing all the old 'Standards' for them. Their eyes just light up with recognition. I am a very meticulous, clean person and a very detailed person. I also love quiet and respect my guest's privacy to the max. I have one gorgeous daughter and she and her husband just gave birth to my first granddaughter, Makena. They live on the Mainland in Texas but my daughter was raised here on Maui. Maui is a sacred home for me. I never take it for granted and give thanks everyday for the opportunity to live in the most beautiful place, a true paradise! I know the island very well so please come and stay with me (in the privacy of your own space) and I can help you have the time of your life while you are here.

Why The Owner chose Napili

It is a lot cooler in Napili than in the heart of Lahaina. I was in Lahaina for 20 years and this is very different living up North. It is so much greener and like I said, cooler. Maui is so small you can get around easy. I suggest staying in one place and rent a car and enjoy the entire island...with the exception of Hana which is a whole day trip!

What makes this townhome unique

Beauty, beauty..means everything to me...as does clean, clean, clean and attention to detail! Everything has been renovated and is new. I am a very detailed person and have thought of many amenities to help my guests want for nothing. I am often complemented about this. I have boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas for your convenience. I also am a wealth of knowledge and am always willing to share what I know about Maui...especially the restaurants. Something might look good but the food is not good. I prefer my guests ask me before they go anywhere to eat. I also have 'Julie's favorites' restaurant list that I hand out to all my guests.

Perfect Vacation Home

Prior to our trip, communication with Julie through email was quick and easy. Upon arrival, Julie was a real pleasure. She made us feel welcome and answered all of our questions about the island. The pictures that Julie provides here could not be any more accurate. Her property and amenities are as described. She provides everything that you could possibly need including toiletries and beach chairs/ towels. She even went to her garage to lend us a flashlight for our early morning trek to Mt. Haleakala. Her place is in a very well situated location that is walking distance to Napili Beach and to yummy pancakes at Gazebos. We looked forward to returning to Julie's "jewel" every night after a full day of exploring beautiful Maui. It was exactly what we were expecting and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay

Upon arrival we found that the unit was very clean, comfortable had a great outdoor space and only 5 minute walk to one of the best rated beaches in Maui, Napili Bay. The bed was very comfortable and my wife appreciated the quality shampoo and conditioner. All of the great reviews are true, we experienced them all. The unit is just as it looked just like in the photos, very comfy. Julie is a great person and loves her visitors. She had a wealth of knowledge and was eager to help us whenever possible. Shopping center is 5 min. drive away and the top rated restaurant for breakfast, The Gazebo, is a 5 minute walk. The Sea House restaurant, with great appetizers and awesome Prime Rib every Monday and Wednesday, is right down the beach from the Gazebo Restaurant. Also Hawaii's #1 rated Kapalua Golf Course with sweeping views just 10min drive away.

So to sum it up... within a 5 minute walk you have 2 top rated restaurants, a top 10 Hawaiian beach and a shopping center with cold beer and a 10 minute drive to Hawaii's #1 Rated Golf Course. So I ask what else could you want...?

I not only would recommend it to a family member or friend but we will be staying there again. The value is off the charts.

We highly recommend Julie's for the perfect place to feel at home in paradise. She has gone out of her way to make a high quality, pristine get away. She is the perfect hostess with all the privacy you want and the support you may need while visiting. The beach is close enough to return often if you forget your camera and the private yard area means you aren't barbequing with other hotel quests. We will always come back to this new home away from home and our new friend Julie.
