Our Townhome is on the 12 hole tee box of a Jack Nicklaus designed golf course. A few yards from the beautiful bay & marsh views of Pawleys Island. 100 yards to the pool. Walk, bike, skate or run around the Pawleys Plantation grounds, which is a security guard gated community. 5 minutes to the Beach of Pawleys Island. The clubhouse is noted for its dinning room & sports pub. Stay home or go out - we are 70 miles North of Charleston, 10 miles north of Georgetown, 12 miles south of Merrill’s Inlet and 24 miles south of Myrtle Beach. 2 State parks within 5 miles. 2 miles to the famous Hammock Shops. 4 of the top 10 golf courses are within 5 minutes of the villa. Golf Details: Pawleys Plantation Golf Club is open to the public and offers a driving range with free sand trap and practice putting area for the whole family. The world famous Phil Riston - Mel Sole Golf School is based here. If interested you must register with them separately. The entire regular golf staff at Pawleys are young pros working their way through 'Q' school and will be available for golf lessons. If you want to learn the game, build a better game or just play you couldn't pick a better place. Docking for your boat is nearby for approx. $50 a week. Plantation grounds: Pawley Plantation Golf Club and Resort is as much a family resort as it is a golf course. It is a gated community. There are 2 outside pools. Miles of paved roads to walk, bike, roller skate, skateboard or jog, without the fear of busy auto traffic. There are 2 Har Tru surface lighted Tennis courts. The wild life and scenery is like a beautiful bird sanctuary. American Eagles to the smallest finch fly over the marsh and plantation grounds. Moonlight walks under the stars in the evening by the Marsh are a favorite for everyone. Docking for your boat is nearby for around $50 a week. Why Jim McCall chose Pawleys Island

Even though we are on the Golf course at the 12 Hole Tee Box. Golf is only a small reason why we love the area. My wife is a beach person and loves the Beach at Pawleys Island, a short 3 minute ride away. I choose to bike there and back, smiling along the way, as an exercise routine. My children Kyack in the Bay and around the 4 mile Island. There is every kind of fishing available because we are so close to the river ways and ocean. The Pool is just 200 yard walk out the front door. Your back yard is a most beautiful nature walk day or night. The tennis courts have a Har Tru surface.

Pawleys Plantation Golf Club is nestled in Pawleys Island. Pawleys Island is located 24 mile south of Myrtle Beach Airport. We are 10 miles north of Georgetown and 70 miles north of Charleston. In Georgetown County where zoning laws have a 35 ft high building limit so no high-rise buildings. Come see what the beach looked like years ago. Visit the 2 State Parks that surround the Pawleys Island area. See the area for all of it's original beauty. It is an area where the natural beauty of the surroundings still exist. You are within minutes to hundreds of the fabulous restaurants and night life Myrtle Beach has to offer. A great way to view the area. My husband & I just finished up a week in this lovely condo. It is a beautiful & quiet setting. Had my coffee every morning in the screened porch. Very well appointed and the owner was terrific. Easy to work with. Has all the basics (i.e., dish soap, TP, paper towels, etc) to get your vacation started. Great place to take long walks. The drive to the beach takes all of 6 or 7 minutes and is uncrowded and almost pristine. Multiple restaraunts are just within minutes. We would most definitely stay here again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

This place is unbelievable!!!. A friendly and caring owner who looks after your every need and attention. Pawley's Plantation is a beautiful resort with a great golf course. Nearby is beautiful Brookgreen Gardens and many other things to do. Amenities galore and the condo has a great patio for comfort and the three bedroom three bath is very nice and in great condition. Nice carport for the car and plenty of privacy. No question a great deal for the money......
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Perfect Place for our 40th Anniversary.

We had a fabulous time at Pawleys Island Plantations celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. Even though we don't golf being on the 12th green was enjoyable. Watching the golfer's hit the trees miss the ball while we sat on the screened in porch with a glass of wine.
The condo was absolutely perfect and stocked with all the basic so that made it great on our arrival. We stayed the whole month of Oct. and the weather was beautiful, being from West Virginia hurricane Sandy dump allot of snow on us. We were scheduled to leave and Jim extended our stay a few days which made our trip home allot safer. We will defintely be back and stay nowhere else.

Much needed vacation

We had a fabulous time! The description's were accurate, but the pictures just can't capture how wonderful the home actually is. It's cozy, but spacious! The property was clean and everything was in working condition. The owner made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. All questions were answered expeditiously. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to relax and enjoy a few days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I can't wait to spend another week there next year. Recommend going north to Myrtle if you have impatient children. :) We had a 14, 10, 7, and 4 yr old. The ride to Charleston was a little longer than we preferred. Home owners and house was great! Would do it again in a heart beat. Mall and beach is towards Myrtle

The home is emaculate. Everything is in good repair. Beds were comfortable. Jim provides excellent service. He is easy to reach and he is genuinely concerned about your stay in his home. He made me feel like an honored guest. The home is convenient to the beaches and restaurants. The home is easy to maintain ie. tile at the front door through to the kitchen, trash collection within steps of the front door, and laundry near bedrooms. Jim gives detailed info in an easy to read format. Follow his instructions to the pool. We used the wrong pool and were turned away. The neighborhood is maintained to a fault! Yard workers and all maintenance personnel are polite and cordial. I strongly recommend this home!
