Thank you so much for allowing us to stay this week. We truly enjoyed your cabin and we hope to return some day! The view from the porch is georgeous. Our children loved everything about our stay. Thank You
We had a wonderful time at this cabin! The accomodations were clean, comfortable and had everything you need plus a few things you might have forgotten. The view was beautiful and the rockers on the porch relaxing. The kids loved the hottub. Thanks for everything Faith!
Our visit started out with not being able to check in until 5:00. The cabin is very low rent and not very clean. We actually found French fries and a fork in the floor beside one of the beds! The kitchen is poorly stocked. There wasn't even a baking dish for us to cook a casserole. We rented a DVD and could not get the DVD player in the living room to work. All in all the place is rather sketchy. I would not recommend.
The best of all worlds; this cozy cabin has outstanding views of the mountains and feels secluded, but in fact you are a short 10 minute drive to "town" where you can get everything you need. Owners were very friendly, and helped us everything we asked. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!
Love love love this place!!wonderful location-you feel like you are out in the boonies but only about a 5 mile drive to town.Faith is a wonderful host and does a great job with the cabin.everything was clean and very well stocked-i didn't think it would be as stocked as well it was.you walk in,unpack and it just feels like home.due to a medical condition i was unable to use the hot tub at that time but i can't wait to come back in the fall to try it out(as well as the fireplace!).didn't need the tv in the cabin.we spent most of our time sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs drinking our coffee and playing with the furry visitors (2 dogs and a kitty)while enjoying the view.hubby is a grilling freak and loved the gas grill out back-ran out to the store and grabbed some steaks and baked potaoes for dinner there the first night.it was just my husband and i here.we have spent the last 10 years caring for his 91 year old gram and this was the perfect place for us to have some alone time and forget about the craziness of life.have i mentioned that i can't wait to come back again?
My family, 3 adults, two 6 year olds, has a great 3day visit. The cabin was a short drive from Townsend TN. We left the cabin daily, to go into the GSM National Park nearby. We returned to cook a quick meal, play cards and soak in the hot tub. The cabin is clean, and well maintained, with plentiful linens and the kitchen has all the standard equipment +. More beds than we needed. The hot tub was a great feature, for adults and the kids.
Our family just returned from a visit to Townsend and a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. It was very relaxing and the owners were so accommodating. We got lost on the way up, even though they gave us excellent directions, and they came down to meet us. We also left something behind and they contacted us right away to let us know and to find out how they could get it back to us. Everything we needed (except for our food) was provided, even a washer and dryer with soap. The kids LOVED the hot tub (and mom did too!!) There were plenty of rockers and a wonderful porch swing too. I was a little concerned that there were not more current reviews but everything was up to date including a HD tv in the living area (plus smaller tvs in each bedroom) We just wish that our visit had not been so short. We will definitely be returning!
1&1/2 to2 miles from Cabin, Tuckaleechee Caverns, and Davy Crocket Riding Stable, Heritage Museum is on the right just before entering the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Y is a great place to swim or lay in the sun. Turn right for a must do visit to Cades Cove for nature watching and Viewing Historical Cabins.
