Super private tropical garden home with waterfall pool

This home is lovely. It is the perfect vacation getaway.Its just as described. Clean, comfortable and decorated beautifully. We had a wonderful vacation there.We could relax in the private pool and hottub.And at the same time there is plenty to do if you choose to stay busy. There is lots of shops and close by restaurants. You can easily bike or walk to , or to the beach. Just a short drive out you can get to the Ringling Museum. Its a must see.But not second is the Seahagg.This was a fabulous vacation home. And Kent and Pa were wonderful. They made us feel comfortable right away and made sure we had everything we needed. This home stocked with all the amenties.Thank you Kent and Pa .We look forward to our next visit at your lovely vacation home.

We booked this beautiful Island home for 1 month as we were getting married and spending our honeymoon in Anna Maria Island and wanted a private place to stay. Having visited Anna Maria before we knew what to expect of the Island - laid back Floridian charm, the most beautiful beaches, fabulous restaurants and very hospitable Islanders – and not forgetting great Margaritas! Having already seen photos of the house we knew what to expect but the reality far exceeded our expectations. The house is beautifully and comfortably furnished with a fantastic screened pool and Jacuzzi and everything immaculately clean. We didn't want for anything our whole stay - bikes, fishing rods, coolers, maps of the area, cocktail shaker, - you name it this home provides it! Kent and Pa are such a friendly, welcoming and accomodating couple - nothing was too much trouble for them. They even arranged for English football to be added to the cable package so that we could watch an important match during our stay. The house is great for entertaining and although only the two of us stayed in the house, we had a pre-wedding party of 24 people and it didn't feel crowded at all. The pool and garden area is totally private which was also perfect for us honeymooners! We truly felt like we were at home during our stay rather than in a holiday rental and we would definitely stay in this home again when we next visit Anna Maria Island. If you are looking for luxury, comfort, space and privacy and only a short walk to the fabulous beach, as well as wonderful hosts - this home definitely has it all!

Two years ago, pIans were made for our family holiday in 2011 and much research had resulted in AMI as the destination and an invaluable find on one of the many websites titled ‘Super Private Tropical Garden home ...’
We set off to AMI having spent time in Orlando for a much needed rest. We found the villa easily and I recognised it immediately from the many times I had looked at the photos. Kent and Pa were there and greeted us as if we had known them for years. Kent gave us a tour around the house and it soon came apparent that the photos did not do the house justice. Beautiful, classy with a lovely warm feeling to it, as if we were walking around a family home and not a rental. Kent then showed us the best places to eat and other useful island facts. As much as you read from guide books and the internet nothing beats having tips from the people that live there. Throughout our stay we found this invaluable. Once we let Kent escape to his own house we had a good look around. Kent has already shown us the items in the fridge and the cupboards which meant that the normal trip to the local supermarket to get the essentials was not needed – so thoughtful. Throughout our stay the house was our haven. It was so nice knowing that we would go back to such comfort and be able to swim in the spectacular pool. Our two teenagers only took breaks from the pool when Facebook beckoned! We all made use of the free trolley bus (stop just down the road) and the beach gear and bikes in the garage. We were originally going to book these in advance, but there was no need. These touches make this property so unique and shows the time and effort Kent and Pa have taken to ensure their guests have a special vacation.
What can I say about the island which hasn’t already been said? Truly stunning. The beaches are beautiful and tranquil, bursting with wildlife. But what I think makes the island so unique is the hospitality and friendliness of the islanders. Perhaps they know that they are the lucky ones who get to wake up there every morning.
We have so many happy memories from this vacation, but the highlights are; Kent and Pa’s beautiful home which we had the privilege of staying in, the amazing sunsets and beaches, chatting to all the lovely people, the fantastic restaurants and not forgetting the special people who made all this happen for us ...
