Perfect Vacation Getaway

Edgewater was the ideal cottage for my family of 4 (2 teenage sons). The cottage is clean and inviting and the location is absolutely beautiful. Despite the quiet location, it is a quick ride to Acadia, Bar Harbor and other area attractions. Property owners are pleasant and attentive. We definitely plan on visiting again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

Cozy getaway

Nice, cozy, extremely clean cottage. Directly on the water when the tide is in! We saw loons, and a seal. So nice to lie in bed and look out at the water and listen to the waves. Very nice landlord to deal with throughout the whole experience. However, it rained 4 of the 7 days we were there, mid June. I guess that is just the way Maine is; no fault of the cottage!!!! Only a few minutes drive to Acadia, and many good lobster joints nearby.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

We had a great time at Edgewater! it was a nice clean cabin in a great location! We would highly recommend it to anyone!
