My family will soon be returning for our fourth stay at this property. It is clean, well-maintained, and across the street from one of the best beaches around. You can practically jump into the pool from the sundeck, so it's easy to keep an eye on the kids. The condo has all of the amenities you'd need and then some. The addition of high-speed internet last year was much appreciated.
Bermuda Bay is close to trolley stops in both directions. Although you probably need a car to fully enjoy the area, the free trolley takes you to the most important places on Anna Maria Island: the Holmes Beach Pier, Joe's Eats and Sweets (the best ice cream ever), and the Publix grocery store.
Back to the beach...the owner provides some beach chairs, but in reality most people just use the loungers that belong to the resort next door. The sand is second to none, and the water is usually warm enough that we jump right in.
I had some hesitation the first time I stayed here due to the lack of a gas BBQ grill, but the electric one that's provided works just fine. I love to sit on the little patio off the kitchen and grill some dinner while enjoying a book, a beer, and some fresh salt air.
When you're used to seeing snow 6 months a year as I am, you really appreciate this little piece of paradise!!
