* Heated Pool, Billiard, Jacuzzi* Families visiting the strip, groups and business people will find this beautiful, large (2,300 sq. ft) home near the strip to be a true jewel. It's 2 miles from the Strip (5 minutes), walking distance to the Convention Ctr and monorail (that modern train which takes you to many hotels on the Strip). The home is also walking distance from the second largest mall in Las Vegas, which includes a food court and many department stores (our guests constantly praise this benefit). This fully remodeled property is located on an 8,000 sq ft lot. Inside find 24' travertine stone floors & French doors. One of the great advantages of this home is that it has 3 large bedrooms with two beds per bedroom (2 Kings, 2 queens, 2 fulls!) And it has 3 sleeper sofas, two located in the living room and one located in the game room, so you can actually sleep 5-12 in this house and still pay much less than you would for a five bedroom at a weekly rate.

  • Floors in each bathroom are travertine. As you can see from our pictures, we have fully renovated and remodeled a sixties style home, full of old Las Vegas charm. We prefer the architectural style of this moment in time, when so much attention was paid to the styling of homes. We have kept many of the original beautiful touches of the home, such as the sunken roman tub, located with a great view to the pool. The large, two-person Jacuzzi in the master bedroom has ten warm, relaxing massage jets–all under a beautiful skylight. Also you will find an adjacent shower, all wrapped in lovely travertine. Fresh towels and wash cloths for 12 people. Hair dryer.

  • The living room has two sofa beds, and the game room has one sofa bed as well. You will love the large master bedroom suite which holds 2 king beds, a wall of mirrored closets and a large 32 inch LCD HDTV (with enhanced cable and DVD). There are two more sizable bedrooms, one with two full beds, and the other with two queen beds, both with large TV screens and cable HBO/DVD. Linens provided. Alarm clocks in all bedrooms. A wonderful benefit of the layout of our house is that the living room, two bedrooms and one restroom all open to a view of the blue water of the lap-size swimming pool. It gives you a tranquil feeling to be able to view the sparkling waters from so many rooms. You can also watch a DVD on the large screen TV, use the Jacuzzi or simply lay in bed after a full day of activity. The bedrooms provide ample privacy from each other and the street, so that you won’t hear a thing while you sleep.

Notes: Through the Game Room’s six bay windows with wooden plantation blinds find a large quiet winding street with a view of Sunrise Mountain and even a peak at the Stratosphere. Kitchen: We have a fully equipped kitchen with quality stainless steel cookware and all the necessary pans, pots, knives and utensils for serious cooking. Also, brand new microwave, coffee-maker, toaster and toaster oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, etc. Washer and dryer nearby kitchen. Basically, we have all major household appliances, central heating and air conditioning. There is crown molding in several rooms in the house, and it looks particularly great in the dining room. There are beautifully framed large mirrors and paintings throughout the house. 2 large Persian wool carpets, 2 decorative fireplaces. Great stereo.

Game room, Billiard, heated pool, parking, etc.: The game room features a new Black Pearl contemporary pool table with ball return, and from it's bay windows find views of Sunrise Mountain. *Also find in the home a Jacuzzi for 2, & 2 large LCD HDTV screens w HBO & DVD. There are 5 TVs total- all with cable. Outside find a 35 x 14 foot pool, which is 8 feet deep, perfect for lap swimming or family entertainment. The pool can be heated all year round because it uses a gas heater. The pool deck area is spacious and comfortable for gatherings, barbecues, and lounging. You will feel like a king or queen tanning under the sun and splashing yourself with water. Plus the deck is furnished with a large sofa swing for three, gas grill, lounge chairs and garden chairs. There is a patio dining table for four, small grass area for kids to play in and a weight bench. The pool area is surrounded by 8 foot walls and the neighbors houses are all one story so the backyard is completely private, which is very rare to find in Las Vegas.

Location notes: We are within the borders of Maryland Parkway (to the west), Eastern (to the east), Desert Inn (to the North), Flamingo (to the south) Our community is therefore outlined by the Boulevard Mall and the Vegas National Golf Course. This is the neighborhood known as Paradise Palms, one of the last large-lots home communities left nearby the strip. Most communities nearby to the strip like Paradise Palms were built in the sixties and seventies and they are of course closer to the center of the action than the many modern residences built thereafter. This unique classic pocket of houses has a history that goes way back to the very beginning of Las Vegas. Many of the homes in this neighborhood have been owned by singers, circus performers, magicians, celebrities, etc. Also in Paradise Palms, is the Las Vegas National Golf Club (our home is one minute from the club). Paradise Palms, according to the magazine Vegas Life, is 'the world's first known golf course community'.

Great house ,area quiet ,near strip but far enough away not to bother you,easy access to freeway for sightseeing trips.Near a Mall but did not feel comfortable there much better ones nearby try them.had to buy a kettle the British like their water for tea boiled in a kettle.The pool is great only one sunlounger and one chair recliner that side a let down!.On a more serious note security around the back needs to be sorted out no problems but had to take money and passports with us when we went out owners will know what l mean,if that sorted go back tomorrow.
Owner's Response: We do appreciate this review. We just have a couple of thoughts about it.
One is that it says in the review that in the backyard there are only two recliner chairs. However, the backyard does have many other kind of chairs, more than 10 overall, including a table for 4, where people can have breakfast, lunch, etc.
We had more reclining chairs right before this client and they were recently damaged, so we just added one, and now we have 3 reclining chairs and 10-12 other kind of chairs.
Regarding security, the home is surrounded by 8' foot walls and no one can look in (not even the neighbors). We also have neighbors on every side, so it would be very hard for anyone to just jump in the backyard. We also have two LOCKED TALL gates going to the backyard.
We have sliding glass doors going to the pool, but it is part of allowing renters to enjoy the pool view. In our opinion, it adds to the great feeling of being on vacation.

Our family of 9, 4 adults, and 5 children just returned from our trip and rental of this property. The views of the Stratosphere out front are great, and the pool for the kids was a life saver. This is a perfect rental for those wishing to be close enough to the strip to axxess it quickly/easily, but far enough away to get away from the hustle & bustle. We had a few questions/concerns whils staying, and the owners were prompt and more than happy to address/fix any problems/questions. I would strongly recommend this property for the price/location and accomodations.D.Rhodes

Several of my friends and I stayed here for my birthday. It was perfect. You're always nervous making arrangements on the internet, but this property and it's owners were all they stated and more. When we first pulled up to the house, we were concerned. It looked so much smaller than the photos. Once we open the door, we were pleasantly surprised. The home was beautiful and most of all clean! The owners provided just about everything we needed for our stay except food. Peter/Lissette/Kelly were very pleasant and easy to work with. We enjoyed this so much, we are going to make it an annual thing. Thanks so much Peter, Lissette and Kelly!!! We look forward to working with you again in six months.

Very nice property, Lived up to the description, plus included extras like beautiful bone china tea cups. This is an elegant home with appointments sturdy enough to stand up to the the children, aged 15 to 3 years, that attended our family reunion. Location is very good. Quiet neighborhood, that is close to main streets for easy access to airport, Strip and Fremont Street. Owners very accessible and obliging. I would certainly recommend this property.
