Beautiful Lodge is located on two private riverfront acres on the Gold-Medal Frying Pan River. The Lodge can accommodate 14 guests. One block to Basalt’s fine restaurants and shopping. 17 Miles to the World Class Skiing Resorts of Aspen/Snowmass. Amenities include feather beds and down comforters, cable TV and DVD players in every room, private balconies, gourmet kitchen, 17 foot fireplace, riverside hot tub, hammocks and lounge furniture on the riverside deck. This is a one-of-a-kind property located just one block from the charming town of Basalt which is located at the confluence of the Roaring Fork River and the Frying Pan River. This is a fly fisherman's paradise in the summer and a skier's cozy retreat in the winter.

If you only require 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms - let us know and we can customize our nightly rates for any size group. We also host weddings, receptions, reunions and events - please inquire for details. This is the perfect place for large groups to come together under the same roof with lots of space for people to spread out.

The lodge is beautiful...nicer than any hotel money can buy. With the kitchen and fireplace being the central location for everyone in the house. The house was so cool, we stayed there and cooked every night instead of going out. The hot tub accomodates 6-8 people and is on the lip of the river. Christy, the manager, was so pleasant and amazingly helpful.

Rocky Mountain high!! I can't say enough good things about the Lodge at River's Edge. It was simply one of the nicest places I've stayed, and I've been darn near everywhere sparing no expense. Every detail of the lodge is beautiful and 1st class. Perfect for a big group where everyone wants to spend lots of time together, cook, play, and enjoy nature's majesty. You just can't beat waking up to the sound of the Frying Pan River, with the Rocky Mountains in the background! Not to mention it is a beautiful but very brief walk into the incredibly quaint town of Basalt. I want to go back again, and again, and again...

And don't even get me started on the fishing! I caught a 20-inch cutbow trout only minutes upstream. Whether you're a skier, fisherman/woman, hiker, nature lover, or all of the above (like me!), I'd 100% recommend the lodge to anyone. ENJOY!!
