This is a private family 1890 4-story Victorian home on 2 acres of land at the end of a secluded lane overlooking the ocean. A recently remodeled kitchen gives you ocean views and a perfect gathering area while preparing meals. The spacious living and dining area is conducive to comfortable family gatherings. A beautiful wrap-around porch provides a relaxing, private spot to enjoy mature manicured gardens, twin lighthouse towers on Thacher Island, Loblolly Cove and ocean expanse. Large backyard allows plenty of room for lawn games and outdoor family activities and enjoyment. A 1 1/2 mile walk or drive to the village of Rockport brings you to art galleries, antique stores, gift shops, restaurants and a movie theater. There are many surrounding beaches, including two sandy beaches 1/2 mile from home. Other interesting attractions include the many granite quarries, Halibut Point State Park. footpaths leading to the ocean and beautiful rocky coastline.

Our home (Seacroft) is conveniently located between the town of Rockport and the city of Gloucester, a major fishing community. We are only one mile from the Rockport public schools on both a community and school bus line. Boston is just one hour away by car or train and the train station is located in Rockport, 1 1/2 miles away. This area is not only appealing to vacationers, but to year-round residents as well. Proximity to Boston allows for many cultural, educational, recreational and athletic events, while locally, the beauty of the landscape and the clear ocean air are conducive to healthy living. It offers the best of both worlds with the feel of small town living, convenient to a cosmopolitan area.

    During Winter Season you can book 5 bedrooms only - the other 2 bedrooms during winter do not have heat.

    For Seasonal Renters: To lock in commitment, first month's rent due at time of agreement. Thirty days prior to occupancy, last month's rent, plus refundable security deposit of $1600 due at signing of lease.
