Golfing & Fishing:
We have 250' of frontage on the Apalachicola Bay. There is a picnic table and seating area for those beautiful sunsets and sunrises.
Our cottage is not brand new; however, it is very comfortable, nicely furnished, and very affordable. There is a small building in back with washer & dryer, and it makes a great place to store your bicycles, golf clubs, fishing equipment, etc. Also if you are a golfer, the St. James Bay Golf Course is only about 20 minutes away. It is a world class course.
If you like to fish, the surf, bayfront, and riverfront offer all you need; however, there are plenty of captains in Carrabelle & Apalachicola if you need a guide. There are also boats & sailboats available for your own journeys.
We also have several docks on the Carrabelle River that can be used for your pleasure. Great for fishing, picnicing, or just relaxing. The river is very beautiful and quiet. Lots of wildlife.
Eastpoint Seafood:
Our cottage is in Eastpoint, just across the bridge from St. George Island. The waterfront is filled with small seafood houses. Lots of oyster boats and shrimp boats line the waterfront. The seafood markets offer fresh shrimp, fish (grouper, snapper, flounder, mullet), oysters, (of course) , scallops, and blue crab.
