Summers at Big Bass Lake are warm during the day so that you can enjoy our clean, sandy beaches, life-guarded swimming pool, and other outdoor activities such as sailing, fishing, canoeing and paddle boating. Cool summer nights are a welcome relief from the heat of the big city.
During the fall, you can enjoy the colorful palette of leaves (mid-September to mid-October), hiking, biking, fishing, and hunting.
Winter outdoor enthusiasts will be sure to be entertained with skiing, snow boarding, tubing, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, and ice skating. We’ll provide the snow.
For our fair weather guests, our winter center features a heated indoor pool, sauna, game room and snack bar, with a view of our own ski and tubing hill.
Our recreation staff always has big plans with daily supervised activities for children and families. Big Bass Lake is just 20 minutes from many major Pocono Mountain attractions: Pocono Speedway, four major ski resorts, minor league baseball, Steamtown USA, the Crossings Factory Shopping Outlets.
PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT allow pets or smoking inside our home. Violation of our NO SMOKING/PET Policy will result in a forfeit of security deposit. A maximum of seven persons overnight is the limit for this property. Anyone who violates the occupancy limit will forfeit the security deposit, and may have to vacate the premises. RENTERS MUST BE 25 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.
Weekly rentals run from Saturday 4pm to following Saturday 11am. Weekend rentals run from Friday to Sunday (two nights), usually with flexible check-in and check-out times. Additional days can be arranged when available.
Holiday weekends: Add 15% to post rates for New Year's, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas weekends. Mid-week rentals maybe available; call and ask.
Amenities Badges Are Required By Big Bass Lake Community Association (Per Person Age 6 and Above): $5 Per Day or $20/Week - for Access to Community Facilities: Lakes, Pools, Beaches, Courts, Clubhouse, Ski Slope, Etc.
