Always sparkling clean and decorated for most holidays. Located just 20 minutes from Gig Harbor, this fully furnished, two bedroom, one bath, fully equipped beach home has been renovated and modernized. Special touches create a comfortable and cozy environment. Its casual and warm, and enjoys all the unique qualities that the Northwest and South Puget Sound can offer, Spectacular sunrises and sunsets, an excellent area for water sports, a beautiful pebble beach to walk on, fishing can be excellent, and wildlife is often abundant. We specialize in enjoyment for those seeking a retreat that is not ordinary.

Inside amenities include Two bedrooms total, master bedroom with a queen size bed, other has twin bunk beds. Sleeper sofa is a queen size. Gas fireplace, Phone, Dining table seats six, coffee/view seating area seats two. All modern appliances including washer and dryer. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Entertainment center includes; 26'' LCD TV, 40 channel dish, Surround sound, DVD with a small DVD library, Game console connection, Wireless high speed internet. Outside amenities include; private 1/2 acre lot, 65ft of no bank with bulkhead waterfront. Pebble beach to walk on, swim from or fish from. There is an abundance of wildlife.

Located in Vaughn just 20 minutes from the Maritime City of Gig Harbor where fine dining, shopping and entertainment can be found. There is a boat launch just 1/2 mile from the home. Two State parks and several golf courses are a short drive away . Fishing can be very good off the beach in front of the home and at different times of year you can enjoy watching seals, bald eagles, sometimes whales, osprey, deer and humans do what they do.

Just what we had hoped for

This property was a wonderful place for us to stay. It was very clean and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed the setting and the sunsets especially. We have stayed at a couple other rental homes in the past but they could not compare to this one. The owners were very helpful. We highly recommend it!! We hope to be back soon.

Utopian Vacation Cabin

We had the good fortune of discovering this wonderful cabin and sight-unseen, rented it for one month. What a find!! It was even better than expected and we were so sorry to leave. It was everything we could have hoped for and much more. Beautiful area and beautiful view. Spotlessly clean inside and out. All necessary conveniences in goood working order. The dog next door was great company for our little dog. The porch was comfortable for views of the unbeatable scenery and sealife. Looking forward to going back many years to come. Mike and Julia were always available to help with any questions or concerns. The Roadhouse Restaurant in nearby Key Center was very good and easy to find. The Market there is a good place to find almost anything you might need. And Costco, Target , etc, etc is an easy 20 Minutes. For years we have stayed in a Gig Harbor hotel but not anymore.

Outstanding Beach Home

I have rented many different places over the years and this was definitely the nicest one of them all. The inside of the home was immaculate with nice furniture and all the electronics you need. On the outside, the property was clean and well maintained and the views from the home are outstanding. The beach area is nice and provides a great area to sit and enjoy the summer sun. The owners were available to answer questions and provided lots of items others do not, including coffee, fresh baked goods for breakfast and other snacks. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a getaway on the beach check this one out!

Had a great time, great place to relax, very quiet

Great place to stay, very quiet and clean. Very private. Decorated very nicely with lots of amenities, towels, coffee, linens, utensils, etc. View out the windows is great and hanging out on the porch watching the tide go in and out was very relaxing. I originally was booking for my wife and I and our 14 year old daughter but my older sons (19 and 21) were able to go away with us and we were all very comfortable there. My daughter loved picking shells, skipping rocks, looking at starfish on the rocky beach and going on walks there was fun. You can get to Seattle in and hour and 20 minutes more or less driving or go up to Bremerton and take the car on the ferry over for $16 or so. Both ways work fine, the ferry is very cool and relaxing. Mike and Julia make it easy to rent the place and leave you alone to do your thing. Highly recommended...! Thanks Mike and Julia....!

I found this property to be even better than described and pictured in the VRBO site. It is an obviously well loved beach retreat. The cabin is fresh and clean and I didn't feel I needed to wash dishes before using them as I have sometimes at other rentals. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans and basic cooking items that any cook would require to prepare a real meal. It's also nice to find olive oil and balsamic vinegar on site as well as Starbucks coffee, biscotti and a basket of fresh baked muffins for breakfast. There are some toys for the beach and a nice collection of DVD's if the weather is not so good. What a view! Beachfront property like this can't be beat. I know I sound like I must be related to the owners. I am not. This was just a lucky find by me and a friend. This place would be good for a small family with children, a couple for romance, or, like me, a place to get together with an old friend.
