Aruba: Aruba is a self-governed Dutch Caribbean island with very little unemployment, poverty or violent crime. It is approximately 20 miles off the Venezuelan coast which puts it out of the hurricane belt. The weather is always nice with a year round average temperature of 86 degrees. Almost everyone speaks English and the signs, menus, phone books, etc. are all in English. Direct flights to a modern airport are available from New York and Miami, among other places. There is a very modern, fully-equipped hospital. The roads, power, water and telephone are all modern and up to Western standards. The major industry is tourism and the local population is genuine, extremely friendly and very helpful.

Why Should I Rent This House?: For the cost of a single hotel room with a crowded beach and pool, you can have a full-sized, 2400 sq.ft., 3 or 4 bedroom luxury home complete with a quiet pool just steps away, nearby secluded beaches and your own enclosed backyard. Our Aruba house location is perfect because it is right across the Salina (pond) minutes from the beach. The beaches are great with little or no surf. This area is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, windsurfing, kiteboarding, sailing and just about any other water sport you can think of. While some beaches are full of activity such as the windsurf/kiteboarding area, others are quiet and almost private. Use of all facilities of the adjacent Aruba Racquet Club (including tennis and exercise room) are included with rental. For golfers, our house is 5 minute drive from Tierra Del Sol country club and golf course. This is an 18-hole, world-class course and is the host of pro tour events.
