Located in the Bay Pointe section of Seabrook Island SC, this 2 bedroom villa is perfect for couples (each bedroom has its own private bath). It's a beautiful upstairs end unit, that has been totally renovated, with an open floor plan. The great room (sofabed) & master bedroom (king-sized bed & 20' TV) overlook the marsh, while the dining area and screen porch are shaded by a huge oak tree. The kitchen has new appliances and the bathrooms have been redone. The living room has a 27' TV/DVD and the guest bedroom, with its queen bed, has a 20' TV. The Bay Pointe community swimming pool is located right across from our villa and the crabbing dock is just steps away. Our location is convenient to the equestrian center, tennis courts, shops and restaurants at Bohicket Marina and Freshfield Village. Fitness center, golf courses, club dining and ocean beach are all only a short drive away. A nearby full service management company oversees the property and can assist you with all of your needs.

Amenities: Seabrook Island is a three mile long, private, gated resort island, located just 30 minutes south of the charming and historic city of Charleston, South Carolina. The island has a beautiful, natural setting which includes pristine ocean beaches, salt water marshes, creeks, river waterways, and lush forests. Seabrook is a certified bird sanctuary featuring many species of birds and native animals. There are two championship golf courses, 14 Har Tru tennis courts, a fitness center, available biking, equestrian center, recreation center, restaurants featuring fine and casual dining and a beach club center with a beach bar and grill. There are three ocean view pools (one heated, one kiddie) in addition to the Bay Pointe Villa pool. Nearby Bohicket Marina offers a variety of watersports, boat and kayak rentals and custom tours and excursions for fishing, dolphin watching and crabbing. A convenient shopping area is just down the road and Charleston's galleries, museums and tours are nearby.

Activities: Bay Pointe Villas have their own crabbing dock. Fishing, kayaking and bird-watching are some of the activities that can be done here. The community swimming pool is located just across from the villa's parking area. The equestrian center and tennis center are less than a mile away, while the beach complex is just a short ride, whether by car or bike. The golf courses feature beautiful scenery, challenging play and an abundance of native wildlife.

We stayed at this property Aug. 2007 for our first stay on Seabrook Island. We communicated with the owners via e-mail and found them to be unbelievably helpful and accommodating, as well as prompt in responding to our inquiries.
The property itself was just as wonderful as the photos led us to believe. The decor was up-to-date and in good condition. The unit was quiet and private, with outstanding views of the creek. We enjoyed the easy access to the pool, and found the drive to the beach to be convenient also. The villa was extremely comfortable and roomy; we enjoyed the conveniences of the washer/dryer in the unit, as well as the well-arranged kitchen and dining area. We have never felt so 'at home' while on vacation, and eagerly look forward to staying here again!
