Beautiful view of the sound from great room and master bedroom! Very well equipped home with many extras! Charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with awesome sunsets views! Decks off of all 3 bedrooms. This home has a well equipped kitchen (microwave, refrigerator w/ automatic ice maker, blender, coffeemaker, dishwasher & more). The family room has a 36' TV with VCR/DVD, cathedral ceilings, open floorplan to kitchen and sliding glass doors to front deck equipped with deck furniture. For your convenience there are a lot of extras, including: bikes, boogie-boards, coolers, fishing rods, bar-b-que grill , etc. This home is located near milepost 13 within walking distance to the public beach access and many fine restaurants. We also have a home in Kill Devil Hills ( just a few miles away- Mile Post 9) that is available for rent, for multi family groups. Call or e-mail for more info.

The Outer Banks is a great place to create a memorable family vacation for many years to come. Besides the obvious choices of enjoying the ocean waves or the calm, serene sound (which offers many watersports including sailing, fishing, kayaking, jet skiing, para-sailing, & more). You can also enjoy a hike up Jockey's Ridge (The largest sand dune on the east coast, which offers hang-gliding lessons!). A 1400 acre natural preserve with hiking trails is located minutes from the cottage. A short drive south takes you to the 4-wheeling beaches where you may spot a heard of wild ponies. A short drive north takes you to the island of Ocracoke.

The house is an excellant choice for anyone. It is very spacious and is equiped with pretty much anything you can think of needing. The house is located very close to most of the major attractions in the area, and within walking distance to the dunes. I would recomend the place to anyone.

Our family had a wonderful time at this house! The house is well equipped with everything you need to feel right at home, including baby/toddler things that made it even more perfect for our 1 year old. The view of the sound is gorgeous and the sunsets spectacular! Almost every room has access to a deck that is furnished with lovely,comfortable furniture. We will definitely rent this house again, great location,close to public beach access, only walking distance to the awesome sound beach and close to everything such as shopping,jockey's ridge state park etc..Highly recommend this house to anyone! The owners are very friendly and were very helpful and even called to check to see if we made it there ok.

Beautiful Views, Beautiful Home

We can highly recommend this spacious, well-furnished, and scenic home. The view is delightful, with four decks, two overlooking the sound, and comfy outdoor furniture and porch swing. The sunsets are worth waiting for.

The main floor and master bedroom have fabulous views of the sound, giving the house a peaceful, tranquil feel. Note that we had four teenagers with us--and still can call it tranquil!

The house is clean, bright, and well laid out--with both a large counter and kitchen table, and everything you could desire on hand--bikes, fishing pole, grill, baby gear (wish we'd stayed here when our children were little!), boogie boards, DVDs, games, cards, books....

The owners are friendly, accommodating and helpful.

Thanks for letting us bring our little dog. We six plus Chessi had lots of room and enjoyed this immensely.
We will certainly be back.

Great House on the Bay!

We had a great week at this wonderful house.. the views were beautiful and there was plenty of room for the five of us plus our dog. I would definitely recommend this house to a friend.

Perfect OBX retreat

My best friend, my dog and I stayed at the house March of '08. It's very clean and spacious and nicely decorated. The various porches were perfect for reading, taking photos and gazing at the sound. The dog loved it, too, and we were very happy to be able to take her along. Thank you!
