Two year old one bedroom modernist cottage (completed June, 2007) with spectacular views of the Pamet River marsh and Cape Cod Bay at Pamet Harbor and beyond. Only a short walk to Corn Hill beach. This architect-designed cottage has lots of glass which allows for a beautiful play of light throughout the day; carefully sited to take full advantage of views as well as wooded privacy. Lovely views from the ground floor deck and truly spectacular panoramic views from a very private, partially enclosed large roof deck. The cottage is newly furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen. Quiet location on one of the great old roads in the area --- perfect for a couple looking to enjoy all the natural beauty the Outer Cape has to offer. Just a terrific get-away spot in Truro. (Reservations for 2009 will be accepted after 12/1/08)

Truro is one of the last remaining areas of the Cape to retain its essentially rural character. Large sections of the town, particularly the ocean-side beaches, are protected areas of the National Seashore. Our house is located on the bay side, overlooking the Pamet River and its beautiful marsh, along with striking views of Pamet Harbor and Cape Cod Bay. It sits in a secluded setting along a quiet old road. Walk to wonderful Corn Hill Beach (bay) and only a short drive to Longnook and other spectacular ocean-side beaches. Kayaking in the river and bay, bird-watching, fishing, great seafood and produce markets nearby; 10 min. to Wellfleet and Provincetown, with superb restaurants, galleries, shops and lively night-life. Relax and unwind in wondrous natural beauty or kick up your heels in town -- or better yet, do both!

This house is absolutely gorgeous. It is very modern & very well thought out. The size is just perfect for 2 & the inside is bright & airy and very well decorated.
The views are spectacular from the upper deck, lower deck or even just sitting in the lounge or the bed.
We had one cold day on the Cape and it was just lovely to come home to such a warm & beautiful house.
The house is only a short walk from a lovely beach & a short drive from many other beaches.
I would recommend this house to everyone & hope to return again next year.

A wonderfully replenishing vacation

Everything about this property was perfect. The house itself is intelligently designed and beautifully decorated.The owners' attention to many details in the house (e.g., comfortable chairs on the roof deck; luxurious sofa) left me feeling welcomed and pampered, I felt priviledged that the owners were sharing with me such a wonderful property.
The views are stupendous. One can feel at one with nature even from inside the house...even when in bed!
Overall, it is a 'delicate' and small house, perfect for solitude, meditation, reading and resting.
There are many excursion opportunities as well.
I enjoyed riding my bike into Truro and to the beaches. I joined park rangers for hikes at many of the parks in the area. Provincetown is a short distance away, by car. I hope to retun on a yearly basis.
