Luxury Home, Unlimited Golf,Private Pool and Spa, Lake and Golf Course Views

Notwithstanding the best attempt by Iceland to scupper our holiday, we make it on our annual R&R to Fort Myers.
As ever, the villa very clean and tidy on arrival. This was our third visit to this property and it never disappoints. Supply of books, puzzles and DVD's should you have a rainy day.
Golf on your doorstep but never intrusive. Recently installed solar pool heating made a big difference. Much of our time spent in or around the pool.
Some of our favourite eateries had closed, no doubt due to the economic climate, but others had opened.
Both the owner and the local site agent accesssable and attentive should any issues arise and any problems swiftly dealt with.

Locally, Lakes Park worth a visit. Look out for the 6 foot 'Gator, usually under the ice-cream parlour decking,
[swimming not recommended]!
Most afternoons at the villa we were joined by some of the local wild life for tea and muffins. Peter Rabbit, Squirrel nutkin and Tommy Turtle!
Would I recommend? -Booked again for 2011. - Enjoy.

The description of the property is accurate and complete. Very friendly, gated, secure development with community pool and excellent tennis available. Flat Florida land makes for easy biking both inside and outside the community. The golf course is well maintained and just as challenging as you choose to play it. Tee times are easy to get and course is rarely crowded. You can play it often and not get bored. Very easy access to grocery, restaurants, service stations, banks, and drug stores. Beaches and barrier islands are a short drive and world renown for shelling. House has golf course view but far enough away that golfers are not intrusive. Lake view as well with lots of bird life at certain seasons. Check local theaters for special events and plays. Owner and support staff are very responsive and available. High speed internet access and cable TV are a plus. It's a great Florida spot. We return each year.

Just returned from a wonderful October in Fort Myers. The house is well equipped and maintained,whilst the solar heating kept the swimming pool at 89 F.We are not golfers but the course gave us a nice view and players were not intrusive. The bird life around the lake is almost as good as in a nature reserve.The location for shopping and tourist attractions cannot be bettered.This is our fouth visit to Fort Myers, but the first to this house. We hope to return!

The property is accurately described in the information and has a lovely outlook across the course and lake. It is beautifully presented, clean and offers all one could wish for to make your stay a comfortable one. The pool now has solar heating and was a joy to use. The owners provide you with excellent customer service. The house is ideally located to visit attractions such as the Edison Ford Estate and the Everglades, as well as excellent gulf coast beaches. The sunsets at Fort Myers Beach are spectacular.
Would we go again - definitely.
