This was our 1st rental vs hotel rooms and I don't think we will stay in another hotel.
The description and layout of the house were just what we wanted.
It made everyone feel like they were part of all activities even while being in different rooms.
The owner was a delight to work with very prompt and polite.
The house was very clean and inviting upon our arrival.
We loved the location of the house was out but not to far away from things.
We had a deer family that would come visit at least once a day, the babies would come up to the house and eat the tall grass along the foundation and wild turkeys a great adventure for our family we never see things like that in our backyard.
The deck in the evening as the sun was setting was breath taking.
We will recommend this home to family and friends planning trips to the area.We had a good time at all of our activities.

Get away from it all!

We rented the house for 6 nights. It was ideal for us. There were three couples. The house was very nice. The two upstairs bedrooms could use ceiling fans. They were rather warm, but we left a window open at night which helped. Cell service is very sporadic. One of the couples staying with us tried to use the home computer provided, but was never able to get a signal long enough to log onto the internet. This is a great place to stay if you want to get away from everything. Wildlife is plentiful. We saw deer and wild turkeys. The owner was very helpful in providing maps and directions. Our deposit was returned promptly as promised.

The property listing description was accurate and directions furnished by owner were excellent. It was close to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse monument, Custer park and Black Hills. It was isolated and quiet but close to sights. The home was spacious and very well laid out to support two grandparents and daughter and two teenage grandkids comfortably. We really enjoyed walking on the acreage and experienced multiple wildife sightings (deer and wild turkeys). We stayed four nights but did not get to see everything we wanted.Time went by fast and we would like to come back in the future and would highly recommend to family and friends.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
