Red Creek Cottage is an immaculate and cozy 3-BR, 2-story cottage on the western shore of Seneca Lake, 13 mi. north of Watkins Glen and 22 mi. south of Geneva. With over 200 ft of lake frontage, a stream with a drawbridge, and a couple acres of woods behind us, our cottage is the perfect retreat where you can feel surrounded by nature and truly relax with family and friends. The cottage lies 50 ft from the shore and is level with lake, with a large, sunny yard, a large shale beach, outdoor dining table w/ umbrella, large picnic table, lounge chairs, gas grill, fire pit, two canoes, fishing gear, life jackets, badminton, volleyball, croquet, swing, etc. Authentic pine paneling, wall of sliding picture windows across the front, a full kitchen w/ service for 8 & baby equipment.
About Seneca Lake: The second deepest lake east of the Mississippi as measured by its depth below sea level, Seneca is over 600 feet deep and three miles across in front of our cottage. At 38 miles long, it is the second longest of the Finger Lakes in Upstate New York, perfect for power-boating, fishing, sailing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailboarding, and other water sports.
We do not have a dock or boat lift at the moment, but you may launch your powerboard or sailboat at several marinas within a ten- or fifteen-minute drive. (See 'Area Attractions' for more information.)
Information for Parents: As parents ourselves, we know what you need to feel comfortable on vacation. Red Creek Cottage comes with lots of amenities for parents of children of all ages, including:
