8. Ample parking- leave car at home since groceries, entertainment, shopping, restaurants a 2 minute walk into downtown Seaside; Watercolor Publix 5 minute walk as well.

About Chuck and Emilie Sykes

Katie, Emilie, Jlia, and Chuck wish for you to have a great time at the beach while visiting our home. Katie is a senior in the UGA Honors Program. Julia is a sophomore at UGA as well.

We very much enjoy sharing our home with other nice families when we can not be at the beach!

The beaches along Scenic 30A between Destin and Panama City are among the most beautiful in the world. We love the varied interesting architecture in the upscale communities in our area. Seaside, the epicenter of 'new urbanism' is a fantastic family oriented community offering any amenity you want for a great beach vacation. We avoid the crowds since Scenic 30A area has only single family homes and small low rise condominiums.

Located along the northern Florida Gulf coast, our new home sits 30ft above sea level on huge sand dunes overlooking the Gulf. We are centrally located on Scenic Rt.30A immediately adjacent to the famous new urbanism community of Seaside- Truman Show movie with Jim Carey filmed here. Within a few minutes from our homes along 30A are the prestigious communities of Watercolor, Old Seagrove, Grayton Beach, Rosemary Beach, Watersound, Paradise By The Sea, and Alys Beach. Bike paths connect all of these luxurious beach communities. Destin and Panama City are equal distance (20 min.) from us.

Loved A Point of View!

All fourteen of us loved your beach house. The elevator was really a plus since I am using a cane and unable to do stairs. We rented a golf cart and eight bicycles so the kids were on the go most of the time. The porches were wonderful! Thank you!

Wonderful week at A Point of View

Lovely home- you have thought of everything-from great decorating, to outside shower and bathroom which keeps the wet swimmers outside. There were lots of fresh towels, elevator for moving in....sadly moving out. We are leaving taking in one more time your beautiful views to imprint in our minds until we return again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us....we loved all of your family pictures too!

Great three week stay at A Point of View

A Point of View gave us a new point of view- relax-pool-beach-pool,eat, drink, laugh, enjoy family and friends. What a great view you do have! We loved your home and leave with tears in our eyes-back to Colorado snow. We thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us. We will never forget it and hope to be back soon!
