Cielomar features a lovely oceanview pool with wetbar,andits own rainforest preserve,with private trails through the canyons of the endangered lowland forest.
We are located easy walking distance to lovely secluded beaches and,several excellent restaurants, as well as an excellent grocery store and fun nightlife.
Playa Chiquita path is at the bottom of our hill and the world famous beach at Punta Uva is about a mile walk along the shorebeyond Playa Chiquita. Cocles surf beach is a short walk the other way.
The lodge itself is colorful and bright,with handpainted murals,magnificent spiral staricase leading to the jungle room..a bedroom and wildlife viewing room up in the canopy. Awesome ocean views and cool breezes enchant and seduce lucky guests from every level of the three story lodge.
The main floor is living room,kitchen ,a queen bedroom,ocean view covered porch with sleeping cubby
The large gracious main bath is to the left and the main floor queen suite sits behind it, with a separate access directly from the bedroom to the bath. The suite also has an extra twin bed.
The kitchen is fully equipped and open to living area for family gatherings. Stepout and see the grandview on the main floor covered porch
At the far end, the staircase down to the master suite drops from the deck.

Find yourself in the canopy with the monkeys!!.. great wildlife watching - bring your binoculars or use our spotting scope to take advantage of world class birding, and a chance to observe jungle fauna including three kinds of monkeys, toucans and parrots,macaws, sloths, agoutis, iguanas, coati mundis, tayras, and other tropical species from the house.

Explore the lowland rainforest on our extensive cleared trails and rest at the secret hidden rancho. Magical jungle vistas,creeks and old growth forest delight. Huge bromeliads cling to the heights and trees and vines flower and paint the hillsides. Endangered hardwoods big as a house hold up the sky.
The wildlife viewing is spectacular. Virtually every species found in the region is represented in my preserve and the neighboring private preserves. Its like a private wildlife park.

If renting a car in Costa Rica to get here rent a FOUR WHEEL DRIVE. My hill is steep and slick if rainy. The rest of the country is also steep and slick when rainy. It may cost a few extra dollars but will provide you with access to many places(including a lot of the parks) you could not easily get to otherwise.
