This cozy and very clean beach house is located 500 feet from the beautiful, private and much desired Island View Beach (Bonus - This white sandy beach has a huge low-tide sandbar that cannot be beat. It's great for toddlers and adults alike). The house is fully furnished and has two bedrooms (queen-size bed in one and two twins in the other), a full eat-in kitchen and a very nice living room. The fully fenced in backyard has a slate patio with umbrella table and chairs, a gas grill and a hot/cold outdoor shower for rinsing off after a long day at the beach. Part of Island View Beach Association, the house is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood that is ideal for evening walks and bike rides. Shop at the nearby Westbrook and Clinton Crossing Outlets or drive less than 30 minutes to the Mohegan Sun casinos or the Mystic Seaport and Aquarium. Sweet cottage in wonderful location

My husband, mother-in-law and I spent three weeks in this sweet cottage near the beach. We live in CT but I wanted to be closer to work in Madison for a few weeks, while being near the beach. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, with a perfect backyard for balmy evening cookouts. The best part of this cottage is the location, which is a block from the beach and near a river where we kayaked to a wildlife preserve. Ideal for cycling, kayaking, walking...an unusually beautiful location on the shoreline. We'll be going back next year for four weeks.
