Overview

Mammoth Lakes Condo Rental Photos and Description

Condo, 1 Master Bedroom + 1 Bedroom Private Loft, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 6-7)

This is the spacious condo you have been looking for. You will enjoy 2 sleeping areas (master & loft) located away from each other for privacy plus 3 full bathrooms. Your friend that joined you last minute that needs to sleep on the couch will have their own bathroom without disturbing you! Parents traveling with kids will enjoy some peace and quiet by the fire when the kids are up playing/sleeping in the loft.

From world class powder ski conditions to quiet romantic getaways, Mammoth Lakes offers an abundance of options for everyone, year round. Despite its recent growth, Mammoth Lakes has retained the character of a small mountain town. Crestview is ideally located within walking distance from the Village where you'll find no shortage of gourmet dining, intriguing shops, and nightlife spots.

Situated on the shuttle route serving Canyon Lodge, you'll be on the mountain in minutes. One of Mammoth's best kept secrets is the variety of activities to enjoy during the summer months. From hiking to horseback riding & biking to boating, you'll find something for the entire family. And of course, our winters speak for themselves with amazing ski & snowboard conditions.

We look forward to having you share the Mammoth experience, you'll be sure to return! Please contact us with any questions or for package deals not listed.

About Ryan

My wife and I reside in Southern California and love to travel. We also enjoy outdoor adventures which include skiing, hiking, biking, auto racing, camping, skydiving, scuba diving, and flying.

Ryan purchased this condo in 2014

Why Ryan chose Mammoth Lakes

We decided to buy this condo as a rental property that would also allow us a place to get some world class skiing in when our schedules allowed. After one trip to Mammoth, we were decided.

What makes this condo unique

The location is incredible. Walking distance to The Village and with the shuttle stopping right there at Crestview Condos, no need for driving or cab. The decor makes it feel like you're in a home instead of a rental property which is nice after a long day on the slopes.

Condo was clean and in a perfect location. Short walk to village. We used the hot tub everyday after hiking and it was nice and hot! Had it all to ourselves. Will definately come back and recommend to friends!

Perfect Family Place to Relax

  • 5 of 5
We stayed at this condo for 4 nights with our two boys (ages 3 and 6) and dog. The unit was the perfect size for us and in great condition -- cozy and warmly decorated with all of the amenities. Our boys slept in the loft and enjoyed having their own little "hideout." The loft is open to below, but it was secluded and separated enough that we didn't have any problem watching a movie in the main area of the condo once we put the boys to bed. Having a bathroom upstairs by the beds in the loft was great, too. The unit is on the second floor, the downside being that you have to climb 2 sets of stairs but the upside being the high vaulted ceilings that make the unit seem very spacious and the lovely views out to trees and the mountains. Rather than overlooking a street or other condo unit, the forested views really enhanced the feel of being on a mountain getaway! We also enjoyed having covered parking (no brushing snow off the car after some overnight flurries!). Finally, the location was great! 1/2 mile to The Village, which was a nice walk or a quick bus ride on the blue line. Less than 1 mile to Canyon Lodge, which was a quick drive or ride on the blue line. Easy access to Lake Mary road and all spots in Mammoth. We had a great trip and will definitely stay here again!

Back again, thanks, John!

This was our third trip to Mammoth in a year and our third stay at this condo. The condo was once again very clean and well maintained and there was a goody basket of hot cocoa, tea, popcorn and other items. In the pantry there were some basic cooking supplies like salt, pepper, cooking oils, sugar, and coffee filters. There was plenty of firewood and fire starters, with kindling in a trash bag out on the balcony. The Village is within easy walking distance, even for our 4 year old to walk without complaining. And the free shuttle bus in front of the condo runs every 15 minutes during the day. (Our kids liked to ride the bus). There were lots of sleds available in the Condo B parking garage entrance as well as some in this condo. John, again, was quick to respond to questions via email. We enjoyed the snow and went sledding and got the kids (ages 4 and 2) up on skis for the first time. Our family and two dogs had a great time and plan to be back this spring or summer and definitely stay at this place. Thanks again, John!

No Snow Mammoth

  • 4 of 5
Condo was funtional and clean with everything needed for a enjoyable stay. A few points of notice.

1-The condo was freezing cold when we arrived and it took a whole day to warm due to the high ceilings.
2-There was only enough wood for one day and I had to chase the management office.
3-Wood was when then delivered when we were out with two guys in the condo with all our personal belongings everywhere.:-(.
4-Cooking utensils were sufficent, but the quality of Chef knives made in possible to cut anything, seriously restricting preparation and cooking options. (for families staying a week self catering "tough")

All in all a nice experiance..... bus shuttle was great, walk to town easy and ammentites nice.

Cheers Paul

Owner's Response: Regrettably, our on site support staff did not prepare the unit by turning the heat on for our arriving guests (the first time this has occurred in ten years of support to us). We have addressed this issue and the others noted in this review. Of note, the guest was given $100 on the spot to compensate for the unfortunate inconvenience. We will continue to commit ourselves to providing our guests with the best possible experience in Mammoth.
