Grill your catch on the deck, cook in the fully equipped kitchen or dine out at many local restaurants. Cable TVs, VCR & DVD, along with a movie collection. In a vacation community offering chip & putt golf, swimming, marina with boat launch, playground, picnic area. Arrangements may be made at local country club - some additional fees are required. Central heat/air throughout + Fireplace. Washer & dryer. Tour charming waterfront villages, the Chesapeake Bay, vineyards, or historic homes & gardens. Washington, D.C. 2.75 hrs, Richmond 1.5 hrs, Colonial Williamsburg-Busch Gardens & King's Dominion theme parks. Amazing fishing, boating.

Surrounded by natural waterways including the scenic Corrotoman River, Virginia's Northern Neck has been a boating, swimming and fishing paradise since Indian and Colonial days. Wherever you go you are not far from incredible opportunities to boat, antique, sample fairs and restaurants or cruise the old pirate islands in the Chesapeake Bay. Excellent golfing offered at several championship courses. Belle Isle State Park on the Rappahannock River and Hughlett Point Nature Preserve are nearby. Stratford Hall and Wakefield, vineyards, local arts, music and crafts abound. The Northern Neck is near Washington DC, Richmond and Williamsburg-Yorktown-Jamestown, which makes this narrow, picturesque peninsula a sought after destination to escape city turmoil. First visited by Captain John Smith in 1608, it has much of the unspoiled beauty.

The description was absolutely accurate, but the place was even better. Cozy, comfortable, well equipped and with fantastic views.
The owner was extremely friendly, supportive and very helpful-an all round lovely person!

Would definitely recommend to others, in fact we hope to go back there! The Upper Deck restaurant nearby was lovely, excellent food and very friendly staff.
