Four spacious self catering apartments set in a old Tuscan Farm of 1878, completely restored are introduced by a long, cypress-lined drive. The property is located in the area of Montepulciano; a lovely village known as The pearl of the 16th century because of its several architectural features dating back to renaissance time, and for its wine Nobile di Montepulciano that is famous all over the world. On the ground floor of the main building there are n. 3 apartments for 2 people each: GLICINE - ROSE - EDERA and n. 1 apartment for 4 people GIRASOLE. They are completely hand-decorated and embellished by trompe l'oeil by the owner, to offer the guests a refined, cosy and exclusive atmosphere. 'Le Manzinaie' is also provided with a parking area, an open pool, a large garden, barbecue, gazebo. All around there are wonderful hill and medieval villages to explore, in fact Le Manzinaie is a wonderful base for exploring Southern Tuscany and Umbria.

All the 2 sleeps apartments: GLICINE - ROSE - EDERA, are provided with private entrances and they are composed of a fully equipped kitchen (which includes microwave oven, fridge, American-style coffee machine and toaster, dining/living room with ceiling fan and sofa, a large bedroom with ceiling fan, bathroom with Jacuzzi Hydro massage tub, shower-bath and hair-dryer. They are also equipped with: satellite TV: CNN, EURO SPORT, BCC, etc, safe, Wireless Internet connection, independent heating. All windows have mosquito screens.

  • CANCELLATION POLICY: In the unfortunate event you need to cancel all or part of your holiday we will have to charge either:
    a) deposit only - if the cancellation is received more than 30 days prior to arrival, or
    b) deposit + an additional 50% of the balance - if the cancellation is received between 29 days and 14 days prior to arrival, or
    c) total rent - if the cancellation is received less than 13 days prior to arrival or in case of NO SHOW (any communication of cancellation and not presentation of the customer for the holiday).

We have had a fantastic holiday in Le Manzinaie. The family were lovely, the accommodation was just wonderful - we have recommended it already to our friends and family. I would recommend a stay here and hope to return in the future. The website is fantastic so user friendly and from our experience in Italy we would use it again to find a holiday home/accommodation.

I had a lovely, restful and restorative time at Le Manzinaie. I traveled alone on this occasion as I needed some quiet and relaxation, and Alice and her family made me feel very welcome. They are delightful hosts, and it was a lovely area to explore. I recommend this holiday most warmly as a happy place where you can take time for yourself without feeling lonely.

Ratings were good, reality was much better.....
Marzia, Fiore et Alicia are friendly, warm and available hosts
The environment is pleasant and each guest can do whatever he/she wants. The italian diner proposed by the family takes place after a toscany cooking lesson. The diner itself allows to discuss with all the guests and the family and of course enjoy the good toscany meals
The Manzinaie is a good location to discover the area and all surrounding cities

We stayed for a week at Podere le Manzinaie in late April, 2008. We have never before experienced owner/operators of the calibre of Fiore, Marzia and Alice. The warmth of their hospitality, their helpfulness with all things and general care about their guests' welfare were outstanding. They obviously love their lifestyle and this is reflected in the artistic decorations in the units and the detail of the furnishings. One or other of them was always there to answer all questions, give advice, make reservations, provide printed directions, offer cups of cappuccino, and even arrange payment at the bank of a parking ticket! The beauty of the Tuscan countryside goes without saying, but special mention should be made of the grounds and gardens at Podere le Manzinaie, continuously, lovingly tended by Fiore. A very happy place and a wonderful, seredipidous find for us! We would love to return one day.

We stayed at Le Manzinaie from October 9-13, 2007. This was our first holiday in Tuscany and hopefully not our last. The warmth and hospitality given to us by Marzia, Fiore, and Alice during our stay was truly genuine and so appreciated. We arrived as stranieri and left feeling as if we were a part of their family. They have done a beautiful job restoring their property during the last eight years and it is just exquisite~~~with loving attention given to every detail. From Marzia's beautiful painting and perfect design of each apartment and villa to Fiore's talented craftmanship throughout, and Alice's excellent help and gracious attention, we immediately felt truly welcome and right at home. The dinner they prepared for us and their other guests on our first night was just delicious and a marvelous time was had by all. We feel very fortunate to have found Le Manzinaie~~~and so very blessed to have shared time with our hosts, three of the most sincere and caring people we have ever met during our travels. Marzia, Fiore, and Alice, we wish you continued happiness and success with your Italian paradise~~no one deserves it more! We are so grateful to you for helping make our holiday one that we will always treasure and remember. To those of you searching for a place to call home in Tuscany~~~look no further. A wonderful agriturismo!

Podere Le Manzanaie is a family run agriturismo near the ancient walled city of Montepulciano. It is a beautifully restored old farm villa with individual apartments decorated with hand painted murals and stenciling befitting the Tuscan area. We were absolutely delighted with our accomodations and our wonderful hosts who take exceptional pride in their home and business and make their guests feel like family. Each apartment is equipped with a small but wonderfully appointed kitchen complete with microwave, refrigerator, stove, toaster, and all the utensils and pots and pans necessary for a full meal. The bedrooms were lovely and restful and the bathrooms spotlessly clean, modern and included a heavenly jacuzzi tub! We can'
say enough good things about Le Manzanzaie. It is beautiful and THE perfect place to stay while in Tuscany!
