The Kiahuna Plantation Resort is located on a beautiful crescent shaped beach that has been voted by many magazines as one of the finest in the world. Great snorkeling and surfing right here at the Kiahuna! The condominium resort complex consists of 42 low rise plantation style buildings situated on 35 acres of flower gardens and manicured lawns. The Kiahuna resort combines old world Hawaiian charm and aloha with the amenities of today. There are world class restaurants nearby and the little town of Koloa is a short drive away with more restaurants, galleries and shopping available. As a guest at the Kiahuna, you will have complementary access to the gorgeous swimming pool, water slide and tennis facilities at the Kiahuna Swim and Tennis Club across the street. There are two fantastic golf courses within walking distance and many other sites and interesting activities for the entire family. This is a beautiful place for a honeymoon. The Kiahuna is located in Poipu, a beach on the Southern tip of Kauai. We are near the old sugar mill town of Koloa which has art galleries, restaurants, and grocery stores for your shopping pleasure. Also located nearby is Spouting Horn and the National Botanic Gardens. A 15 min. drive west will bring you to the artist's town of Hanapepe. Don't miss their Art Walk on Friday evenings. Continue to drive West and you will be at Port Arthur where the boats leave for snorkeling and Na Pali coast tours. Farther west is the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. Drive up into the mountains to the rain forest and view beautiful waterfalls and the NaPali coast from above. Spectacular. Please don't miss a drive farther to the West that brings you to the Waimae River and the spectacular views of the 'Grand Canyon of the West'. You will get a sense of how ancient Kauai is and why it is called the Island of Discovery.

Notes: You will have everything you need for a terrific vacation, and the Kiahuna staff is at your service. We have free cable high speed internet access, so bring your lap-top. Our kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots, pans and utensils to create a gourmet meal and there is a gas barbecue for your fresh fish or hamburgers. There is a coin operated laundry close by on the Kiahuna grounds. Complimentary beach towels and chairs can be found at the Beach Hut on the 'Grand Lawn' at the Kiahuna Beach front. The folks at the Beach Hut can also make dinner reservations for you and schedule other activities. Take a dinner sunset cruise of the Na Pali coast - Captain Andy's cruise is highly recommended. Snorkeling gear and boogie boards can also be rented from the Beach Hut.
