Why Robin Capello chose Marshfield

My Grandmother wanted a beach house for my Grandfather to also enjoy. One day about the time he would get out of work, she drove south as far as she thought he should spend on the road, turned into Marshfield drove up to the water and a bought the land that this house sits on.

What makes this cottage unique

On a summers day I will go lay down in the bunk bed room where I can smell the salt air wafting in from an open window and sometimes hear the crash of the surf and just relax....

We have two houses located on the same street in Marshfield, MA on the edge of Fieldston and Sunrise Beach, on the South Shore, about 20 miles south of Boston, and a few miles north of Plymouth. We are on the coast with Scituate to our North, Duxbury to our South, and Pembroke to our West. Marshfield Fair Grounds August 16 - 25 with midway rides, food, agricultural attractions, 4H Club and Speedway. Always fun to see Mr. Steve Taylor enjoying the fair.

Cleaning $175

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (US Dollar) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • The cleaning fee is for a professional cleaning group for two hours. Cleaning time over two hours will be deducted from security deposit at $60 per hour Cleaning fee allows you extra time on your vacation. The cleaners will vacuum and wash floors, clean the fridge, do the laundry, wash the toilet and shower, clean the gas grill as well as other tasks. Please do what you can to help speed up the process, but do enjoy your last day at the beach. Cigarette butt removal or smoking in the property automatically forfeits the security deposit. You may hire the cleaners during your stay at your own cost.

At the end of our street you will find two Restaurants one is Courtney’s which offers Karaoke, Keno and a family dining room that serves a large Sunday Brunch and a function room for your special occasions. The Fieldston restaurant offers a quieter dining experience. In Brant Rock they have Seafood Restaurants, fresh fish markets, ice cream and burger stands. Down the street you will find an airport that offers helicopter and plane rides and jet service to and from Boston.

Thoughtful owner who has obviously spent time organizing this home with all the amenities that guests could want to make their stay comfortable. What the pictures fail to show is the view of the ocean from the kitchen - a perfect way to start and end the day!

We rented this cottage for visiting family members. Absolutely immaculately clean! Very well stocked with kitchen items, utensils, etc. Better equipped than my own home! Owner was very thoughtful. Hated to leave it!
