Beautiful direct oceanfront: A Place at the Beach IV condo on Shore Dr. This updated condo has a superb location with gorgeous ocean views from the balcony and multiple windows throughout the unit. Oceanfront units have additional windows the ocean view units do not, giving more ocean views and more light through the condo. The unit now has free high speed wireless internet! No rent increase for 2009! Recent updates include new furniture, master bed TV/DVD, beds and bedding, lights and renovated kitchen. The unit is on the third floor of a low rise 3 story building so you have elevated beach and ocean views with no footsteps along with additional security of the 3rd floor. Since you walk in on the 1st floor, there are only 2 flights in between. This low rise complex results in a less crowded beach- a nice feature in the land of high rises. Direct oceanfront location with convenience to golf, shopping, restaurants and activities make this condo a perfect vacation choice.

Nearest Airport: Myrtle Beach Airport at 10 Miles
This condo is located on Shore Drive, a popular vacation area for families in particular. Shore Drive is the beach extension of Lake Arrowhead drive which intersects with US 17. Since Shore Drive is a dead end, traffic is limited to local traffic only which makes it safer. This area is very convenient to many activities: there are multiple golf courses in easy driving distance and the famed restaurant row is with 2 miles right on US 17. Shopping is nearby with Barefoot Landing to the North and Broadway at the Beach to the South. Tanger Outlets, Colonial Mall and Bass Pro Shops are all less than 2 miles away. Apache Pier, the longest Pier on the East Coast, is within walking distance and is clearly visible from the condo. There is lifeguard service on the beach in the summer which is a nice safety feature for families with children and swimmers in general. They also rent chairs and umbrellas which is a nice convenience. It's all here! Call or email today!

Notes: The condo now has free high speed wireless internet. There are coin operated washers and dryers on every floor, just a few doors down from this unit. There are community charcoal grills outside near the pool. The pool is heated in the Spring and Fall. The pool also has a deep end. Kitchen is well equipped with all major appliances, many small appliances also along with a full complement of glasses, dishes and cookware/utensils. Please note linens are not provided. The beach has just been renourished resulting in even more beach space and amazing shell hunting. There is no fighting for or getting up early to claim beach space--there is plenty of room for everyone.

Activities-something for everyone: Myrtle Beach is full of activities, all close to the condo. There is the Dixie Stampede, Carolina Opry, House of Blues and the Alabama Theater to name a few. There are also water parks, Alligator adventure, and Nascar SpeedPark. Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach are large collections of shops and restaurants along with rides for the kids. There is a new Ron Jon Surf Shop at Barefoot Landing, also. There are literally activities for every age and taste.

Restaurants: There are hundreds of choices very close to the condo. They range from fast food to seafood buffets to fine dining. There are also theme restaurants and shows like Dixie Stampede and Medieval Times. The famed restaurant row in within 2 miles of the condo on US 17.

Golf: There are dozens of pristine golf courses with easy driving distance of the condo. Myrtle Beach is a golfing haven and Spring and Fall are great times for golf. Many courses give discounts in the Summer also, especially for afternoon play.

This condo was wonderful! The kitchen is beautiful and you can't beat Ocean Front!!! The location is perfect...just minutes from Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot landing, and many other fun attractions. We hope to rent this condo again!! Thanks Richard and Monica for sharing your home with us!

Spent time in this condo during the first week of April, 2006. The inside is bright, newly decorated with lovely furnishings and everything you need to relax and be comfortable. It's location is a big bonus.....near everything we wanted to do or see.
