Photos and Description of the Panama City Beach vacation condo rental 1 bedroom, 1 bath, sleeps 4

Eighth floor, front type C unit looking over the East Pool an on to the vast Gulf of Mexico. Living room and bedroom were recently remodeled. Living room sofabed and matching chair were replaced in 2007. The recliner was replaced in 2006. Bathroom was freshly painted in 2007 with new floor molding put in. This non-smoking/no pet unit is in great condition. All floors except the bedroom are tiled and the living room and bedroom have ceiling fans. Kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. Linen and Towels provide, but bring your own beach towels and suntan lotion. We are next door to Pineapple Willys and Signal Hill golf course is in easy walking distance. The golf course can be seen from our balcony when looking towards the street, but the best view from the balcony has got to be the gulf. Enjoy seeing dolphins swim by and most of the year you can experience the beautiful sunsets. You must be 25 to rent at the Sunbird. Free wireless internet access.

We are located on South Thomas drive, next door to the World Famous Pineapple Willy's. We are in the the Entertainment District which has condensed around a central area near the Eastermost end of Front Beach Road. The Entertainment District hold the highest concentration of family attractions, entertainment and dining choices. Within a compact 5 mile radius lies 126 holes of mini golf (including 18 indoor Blacklight holes), Batting Cages, Skee Ball, Bungee Jumps and Arch Swings, 45 holes of Championship Golf, a dozen Go-cart race tracks (including 3 multi-level tracks), 3 arcades, A 36,000 sq ft Bowling alley with complete pool hall and Roller Skating Rink, 11 Movie Screens (including a 1 screen outdoor theater), a Human Sized Grand Maze, a Haunted House, a Zoo, 2 Super Clubs, over a dozen restaurants ranging from Casual Fine Dining to Fast Food, and the World Famous Ripley's Believe It or Not 'Odditorium'.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Only weekly rates include all taxes and the cleaning. $50 off per month when renting Dec thru Feb.
  • Upon booking this condo a refundable security deposit of $150.00 is required within 7 days to hold the reservation. It is **Very Important** that you have called or emailed that the rental agreement is in the mail along with the security deposit. The condo is not considered reserved until this has been done. The deposit may be a personal check which will be deposited into an account as long as it's received within 6 weeks of reservation. The deposit will be returned after check out once the condo has been inspected for damages.
    Payment in full is required three weeks prior to arrival by money order, cashier check or PayPal, no personal checks.

    ***Checks Will Not Be Accepted For More Than The Rental Fee.***
  • Canceling 2-3 weeks before scheduled arrival will lead to a 50% loss of deposit. No refund if canceled less than two weeks from arrival unless the vacation condo can be rented. No refund for early check out.
    A refund will be granted if a hurricane evacuation is order but no refund for the cleaning.
    The Sunbird Resort charges a $15.00 parking pass fee in addition to the prices quoted above.
    Prices are subject to change without notice unless reservations have been confirmed.
    Be sure to include your home address and home phone number in your email once you have decided to reserve our condo.

Just got home from a week in the Sunbird Condo/ Had a wonderful time. Weather was great and saw dolphins two days from our balcony. Our first time at Panama City Beach and hope to have a big family vacation next year there.

My sister and I wanted to get away from the realities of life for a few days and this condo was GREAT! The location was perfect, the weather was chilly but sunny, and the nearby restaurants were fabulous. I recommend this condo to anyone who needs a good place right on the beach.

We stayed at this condo 07/18/07 for 3 nights. The view from the balcony was great, and we spent many hours on it listening to and watching the ocean. We even saw dolphins from the balcony our last morning there! The condo was very nice and was as it was described to us. The facility was very nice, and everyone we encountered was nice and helpful. We had a great time during our visit, and we plan to return! Thanks for letting us stay and promptly communicating with us every step of the way. Thanks again!

The condo was great - just as advertised. The viwe was beautiful, the whole complex was nice, the condo was clean and had just about anything you could need. I saw dolphins several times and just the water itself was gorgeous to look at. We'd definitely come back!
