Great family, Non-Smoking, all Cedar Cabin that has you almost sitting on the lake from the deck. We still have plenty of water in this deep water cove looking out to the big water. Covered dock with slip for your boat, swim ladder, plus canoe and lots of water floats for your enjoyment. Everything is supplied, so just sit back and enjoy. Breakfast on the private deck offers the seclusion and quiet you may be looking for. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets while grilling. Great skiing, boating and swimming in this un-crowded setting, or fish from the dock. This cabin has it all with the best view of the lake being right on the point. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has a king, plus three single beds. Located just off the big water in the Reed Creek area of Hartwell. Less than two hours from Atlanta.

This property is very well equiped with all your basic needs. It is very cozy and great place for pets. The walk down to the lake is easy and not steep like some places which makes very accessible. I highly recommend this lake house and if you are looking for a quite peaceful vacation-this is the place for you. Lake Hartwell is a beautiful lake!!

Wonderful spot to get away with family!

My family of five enjoyed six nights and seven days at this A-frame family cabin in July. We had plenty of room in the large loft and bedroom downstairs for our family. Our three teenage sons never had an "I'm bored" moment because there was so much to do and enjoy! The location is beautiful and the owner had everything you could possibly need, including satellite tv, games, floats for the lake, a canoe, a terrrific grill on a large deck with table and chairs! We enjoyed diving off the dock into clean, clear water that was about 12-15 feet deep. Our boys fished each day and canoed in the cove. The property is far enough from town to feel like you are "away from the city", but shopping and grocery stores are within a short ride. We built a campfire close to the lake and enjoyed roasting marshmallows and making smores several nights. The owner is very nice and will quickly answer any questions you have by phone or email. She couldnt' have been easier to deal with! I highly recommend this rental to anyone who wants to get away from a busy life and just sit back and enjoy God's creation! We will definately return!

Great comfy getaway!

We stayed at the cabin fron July 6 - 10. There was no one around. I felt a sense of privacy. We had a wonderful time. Everything was clean and comfortable. The master bedroom was downstairs. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. Just bring food and your tooth brush. We grilled outdoors every day and hung out on the large deck. We fished on the private dock and canoed every day. The lakeview is spectacular. The lake is very clean. There is plenty of beautiful walks down every street. There are beautiful scenic drives and white water rafting nearby. We had PEACE and TRANQUILITY, which was what we needed. Thanks very much.

Comfortable, relaxing getaway

Barbara, Thanks for letting us use your cabin. We can't wait to make a return visit. The lake is amazing. We went swimming off the dock and in the middle of the lake. Tried to fish but didn't know what we were doing. Maybe next time. It was the most relaxing and enjoyable getaway for us in a long time. I have family that live about 45 minutes from Hartwell. This is a perfect place for us to stay while visiting them. I would much rather stay at the cabin then any motel. Thanks again and God Bless,
