We loved our vacation at this villa -- it may be our favourite vacation ever. We were two families staying, and we never felt crowded. We loved the airy, open layout of the house, and truly appreciated the outside bedroom, which really was two steps to the main house. It never felt separate. The house feels very private, despite being on the beach; and when we walked along the bay we marvelled at how it seemed to be in a prime location, yet also the most sheltered from view. Every morning we woke to calm waters dotted with moored sailboats. We made good use of the kayaks, and paddle boards; they were much appreciated, and envied by several people who stopped to ask about them. A two minute walk down the beach leads to a gorgeous lookout, with an amazing vista. The water was clear, shallow, and absolutely perfect for kids and skittish ocean-explorers. We also went not once but twice to ride ponies along the beach, a twenty minute drive at most. All in all, we would never stay in a resort hotel again. Groceries were expensive, but the outside entertaining options -- two teak tables, a hammock, two tiki huts on property, and a long cool pool with deck -- are priceless.
