Best family vacation we've ever taken

My husband and I rented this house for two weeks this summer and brought our 3 year-old and 1 year-old children. We agree that it was the best family vacation we've ever taken. We're originally from Falmouth so we grew up visiting the Vineyard often but nothing compares to bringing your car over and touring the entire island from one end to the other. The house itself was ideal for us because it was mostly on a single level, had a fully-equipped kitchen, outdoor grill, two decks to enjoy at different parts of the day, and a sprawling yard in which the kids could run around without the fear of traffic, etc. The photos, actually, don't do this location justice. It's much more spectacular in person. My husband brought his bike and I used a commuter bike belonging to the house, which was in excellent condition and lots of fun on the island bike paths. It didn't hurt that we had perfect weather. There was enough room for us to have occasional guests visit throughout our stay, and each one has since remarked about what a beautiful location it was. We would certainly consider renting this house again. Martha checked in with us several times throughout our stay and was courteous and responsive. Overall, a very positive experience.
